“I was coming down for industry training and assessments, and the location of my classes was in an area that didn't have any accommodation close. I called the motel, and Jasbir was very accommodating to my needs as I was arriving after reception hours. Jasbir made the process so seamless. I was even offered a cheaper rate for a room that met all my needs. Room was clean, with a nice balcony, and bonus I had a kitchenette to cook my meals. I will be using AAA Mana Motel when my staff come down to Wellington for training. Thank you AAA Mana Motel.”

“I stayed for four nights and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean, warm, and very comfortable—perfect for escaping the cold Christchurch weather. The kitchen and bathroom were well-equipped with everything I needed, and the WiFi was fast and reliable. Best of all, the price was incredibly reasonable for such great quality. “I used to skip this restaurant because of its low rating, but it completely surprised me — I was wrong! This is my second time trying their dim sum, and I felt compelled to write a review. The portions are generous with plenty of fillings, and everything tastes fresh and absolutely delicious. The salted egg yolk custard bun is a must-try, and the polo char siew bun were tasty. “I stayed at this motel for 3 months as a business trip. This motel was renovated and operated by a family. So no need to worry about the hygiene or cleaness. However, you don't have toothblush (shampoo, treatment, body wash and body soap are prepared) in this motel. Since this motel is family operated, you can't expect them high-level hospitality, but they are accommodating. They sometimes forgot to restore shampoo, treatments and then others but after I asked them for the restore, they gave me bunch of them.”

“Absolutely loved our time at the hot spring pool! The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The 80s music playing in the background added a fun and nostalgic touch to the experience. What stood out was the careful water maintenance – minimal chlorine and sulfur smell, making the soaking truly relaxing. The different pool temperatures catered to all our preferences, and the large pool with the little cannon-like side was a hit with our boys. The real stars of the show were the waterslides – the fastest and longest in NZ, and they didn't disappoint! The rush of the "Kamikaze" slide and the excitement of the longest slide were beyond words. You can adjust the speed, if it gets too fast for you. We were trying to get it all from the slides, hence the speed fraction bruises here and there ;) but the bum-sliding challenge worth it (I won!!!) The only hiccup was the ice-cold shower, which felt more like a challenge, especially on a dark winter evening after enjoying the hot pools. But in a way, it added to the adventure! The bonus of having playgrounds, an aviary with peacocks, parrots, and doves, as well as free-range funky chickens, gave the place a unique charm. As a family with three boys, we had over five hours of non-stop fun. If you're looking for a great time, this hot spring pool is a definite winner. We're already planning our next visit!”

“have stayed here twice now, and its now my go too. the staff are friendly, the rooms are a great size and have everything you need, Easy check in, nothing is a drama. Its walkable to everything, lower hutt shops, station village pub. close to motorway, even tho you dont hear it, theres no staff walking round, its quiet, My daughter who is 9 loves it. We have booked 1 bedroom apartment twice, it feels very homely. the only thing bad i could say is maybe a bit more attention to detail on cleanliness, but that is me OCD, its very tidy overall.”

“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. My room was nice and tidy, well maintained, comfortable bed, easy access to the motel and lots of parking spaces. The Managers and Staff are also very polite, friendly, approachable and helpful. The best thing about my room was the big spa bath, it was so relaxing and with the jets going made it that much better, I'm about 6'2 and could comfortably lay in there. I will definitely be staying here again as I travel to Hamilton roughly every 12 days to see my two young daughters who also loved the place. If you're looking for an affordable place, tidy facilities, easy parking, comfortable rooms and friendly approachable staff then I'd highly recommend The Alcamo. “I’ve booked a stay with Ascotia now several times previously and my experience staying with them was always very positive, their rooms are nice and always cleaned immaculately. Considering the price they are an extremely affordable option and my go to if ever I’m needing a hotel room in the CBD. They are conveniently located within a short walking distance to many ammenities. Short walking distance from both Queen street area as well as Kroad area. If anybody is seeking an affordable option for accommodation they would always be my first recommendation! ☺️”

For only around $100 a night, you get a clean, comfortable room with plenty of space, a good bed, and everything you need for a relaxing stay. It feels like you’re getting way more value than what you pay. The location is perfect — close to shops, cafes, and main attractions, so you’re never more than a few minutes away from anything. It’s convenient whether you’re here for business or just exploring the area. The staff was friendly and easy to talk to, and check-in was quick and hassle-free. “The cleanliness of the rooms could definitely be improved, but this place is overall insane value. The bed was comfortable and warm, the private bathroom was everything you need, and while the tv was pretty old it has sky sport and sky movies and everything. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful and the free breakfast was very good. Some people seem to be complaining about cleanliness or dated rooms but for the insanely low price it just doesn't make sense to hold it against them.”

“Sufficient for staying a night or two. Central tobeverything in yhe cbd. Service is okay, desk manned continuously although they don't say much when you are coming and going. Studio room is small bit sufficient. I don't like that you have to step up to go into the small bathroom, will be a trip hazard during the night. Good price and good value though.”
