“Birthday Boy. My wife booked two nights at Moose Lodge as a surprise for my birthday. I had no idea where we were going and when we arrived at the gates I couldn't believe we were going in to Moose Lodge. We were greeted and welcomed by Bevan. We were given a guided tour of the lodge and were blown away by the amazing point of difference displayed. Quite rare and an extra ordinary location and aspect with a stunning, calming view. Lovely rooms, quite and discreet. Beautiful meals and add to that the thermal pools, golf on a site with a quite challenging 9 holes. From the start of our stay & experience Bevan, Shirley and staff treated us with sincere friendliness and amazing service. We recommend people wishing to relax, enjoy and unwind that the Moose Lodge experience should be put at the top of your list. We will be back. Thank you”

“I stayed here for 1,5 month and it has been a great experience! Loved the mount, loved the staff, hostel was clean and well maintained. A little pricy but worth the cost. Close to the beach and not too far from the bars. I really enjoyed my stay here and it will always have a place in my heart! The only feedback I have is that the bunk beds are wobbly and only the bottom bunk has curtains.”

“We had 3 nights in this air bnb and found it suited our needs admirably. The property was pristine clean and had everything in it for a very comfortable stay. It was beautifully set up reflecting a beach theme. The bed was comfortable as was the lounge seating. We were very warm. The enclosed backyard made this a wonderful place to come with our little dog as he could play outside safely if he wished. I would recommend this place for quality and location. Judith”

“Amazing Freedom camping ground with fantastic facilities. For people staying in tents you can stay here for 2 nights in a row max. For Self Contained it’s 4. We arrived around 5pm and the site was very quiet, assuming the weather had hampered a lot of people’s camping adventures. Very clean and well maintained areas. Everyone here on the night we stayed were very respectful of each others space These grounds have a KiwiCamp pod where you can use a kiwiCash tag to make full use of the facilities, which include: Hot Showers, Laundry, cleaning sinks and electric cooking. You can use the toilets free of charge and there is a basic Sink and Out Tap on the side of the pod. There’s even picnic benches scattered around where you can pitch next too. And a few undercover benches too! 100% recommend this location, will hopefully get the chance to come back.”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Seascape Villa B&B! David and Tatiana are super welcoming and friendly, they greeted us upon arrival, showed around the place and provided great local recommendations for dining and exploring the area. Our room had a great view, and was top notch comfortable and clean. The breakfast was exceptionally good and included crepes, fresh fruit, yoghurt, a selection of jams, cheese and ham, cereal and eggs. Overall, would highly recommend staying with Tatiana and David while you are in the area!”

Staff were very helpful, location was only a 5 min walk to the main shops and the beach was literally across the road. “We just had our wedding at Eagle Ridge and were lucky enough to stay at the Homestead for 2 nights. I cannot recommend Eagle Ridge highly enough. The accommodation was absolutely next level! We felt so special staying there with our family and friends. The views were stunning, the grounds were beautiful and it was an absolute dream. For the wedding it was so nice being able to turn up and everything was pretty much done for you, nothing was too big or too small for the staff. They handled everything with complete professionalism. The food was delightful, everybody raved about how delicious the food was. And I cannot recommend highly enough the venue, Deborah and her incredible staff.”

The facilities were excellent and we had the privilege of staying in one of their newly renovated units. Thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the thermal pools after a big day out exploring the area.”
