   I didn't like the fact that when me and my family drove in it was very messy and unhygienic outside of room 2 and the people there were always arguing and fighting which my kids didn't feel safe to even come out of the car but luckily it was only for a night I wouldn't recommend this place for a family especially kids and babies

   The location was really good and the unit was bigger than most you'll see. Renovations were taking place, giving the units a much needed make-over. You get what you pay for here, very cheaply priced.

   I stayed for four nights and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean, warm, and very comfortable—perfect for escaping the cold Christchurch weather. The kitchen and bathroom were well-equipped with everything I needed, and the WiFi was fast and reliable. Best of all, the price was incredibly reasonable for such great quality. Highly recommended for budget-conscious travelers who still want a clean, cozy, and convenient stay!

   I walked in and wanted to go get a refund straight away. But it was late and we were tired. This has to be the worst place I've ever stayed, shower was just awful, didn't even stay on latch. The bedspread looked like it hadnt been washed in a long time, my partners feet were hanging off the double bed not queen as advertised. TV no reception as later we realized not plugged in. Awful dated decor, needs life breathed into this place...DON'T STAY HERE, I FELT SO UNSAFE. WORST EVER.

   The service and location are excellent, however the property is in need of repair and updating. First impression is a burnt out room boarded up, it was the first of many red flags. The room was not up to guest standards, The rooms windows didn't lock, the bathroom was dingy and the sink had burn marks. We did get a refund and the receptionist was lovely, so that's the three stars.

   Disgusting liars as managers. Filthy unhygienic room. Unable to stay 2 nights due to stench and noise. Not worthy of being called a motel. Should be shut down and will be if my complaints are followed up by authorities. Obviously scamming the Government which is the reason they are in business. Even the Dog was disgusted and didn’t sleep. Travelled the world and Ferry Road Motels is the worst place I have experienced. Do not stay here! You will regret it

   Room was pretty dirty, smelled of old cigarettes, very messy and unkempt outside, the advertised pictures must be years and years old, absolutely no maintenance, holes in the walls, dodgey people living in other units, (pursumsbly winz accommodation) questionable light switches and power points. Shower was unusable, just dribbled, and it fell apart it your hand if you tried to move it

   This place was absolutel y disgusting ,dirty,you have a cheek to advertise this as a motel.And charge 100 bucks a night.we were supposed to stay 2 nights didnt have much chouce the first night but got our money bck as we were not going to stay the 2nd night.You need to tidy your act up if you are going to advertise this as a nice motel.It is a rip off.

   Lived here 2yrs. Great place to live. The staff are friendly and helpful. Very dog friendly.... Just be extra dilligent of where your dog is if th police happen 2 drop on in as they will not inform any of the general public that they are there or communicate to anyone to stay in rooms while they are making an arrest. Therefore as happened with me, the worst day of my life and still traumatized by the actions of one dog handler and one police officer, my boy Brixton was shot then 4 no reason then taken from me so I couldn't be with him in his last moments . StilI devastated 5mnths later. have the actual video footage of how it really went down... This has no bearing on the quality of staff... Thanks

   This was an interesting little motel. I was put in one of the larger suites thanks to the very nice gentleman who checked me in (right before the office closed at 9pm) and it had a seating area, a full kitchen, a sitting area w/a queen bed and then a separate room that slept up to 3 additional people in twin beds and then the in-suite bathroom, which was clean and roomy. The queen bed was comfortable and already came with quite a few pillows so I didn’t have a steal any additional from the other beds. The shower had good pressure too. I didn’t get to make use of the kitchen, as I was just there for the night. It was quiet stay, which I appreciated. I also liked that they had assigned parking in front of your room. The wifi was also fast and dependable and easy to connect to.
