   We stay at the poenamo hotel often. We live in Brisbane and come home often. We stay here because the rooms are comfortable and roomy. The bathroom is good and kitchenette perfect for vogels toast and tomato in the morning. The price is reasonable and location perfect. Easy access to the motorway. Good food close by. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Thankyou.

   The villa definitely needs abit of love and new curtains, especially in the master bedroom! Those broken vertical blinds are not it. Also had someone come up and ask if I needed beds made etc I asked for the bins in kitchen to be emptied, ended up having to do it myself, disappointing. And would of been nice to have been warned about the work crew coming at 7am on a Saturday morning. Damn near has a heart attack coming outside to some guy walking pass the front door. Overall a nice place to stay tho!

   First and foremost don’t forget… WE ALL HAD / HAVE DIFFERENT ROOMS HENCE OUR COMMENTS SO PLEASE RESPECT THEM , floor was wet maybe just cleaned so yeah and toilet window fell of hinges re attached otherwise all good accept security sorry

   Met up with a friend on a Sunday around midday. Low patronage but suited us as so quiet! Cold room but a big gas heater was bought to our area and we soon warmed up.

   As many here have noted there is a big difference between the rooms and the new executive apartments. I had a chance to stay in both during my stay and the apartments are indeed next level. I didn't even want to leave and go anywhere as the place was new, well furnished, warm, modern and everything you could wish for in a home away from home. The room by the pool I stayed in first was neat and tidy, not bad as many reviews say but definitely not 4 star. A cozy motel room good to spend a few nights in. The apartments are definitively much higher quality and if you are traveling with a family or friends book those.

   This is IN NO WAY a 4* as advertised. There is no restaurant- what they claim is actually the bar within the strip mall they are part of. No elevator to upper floor and no staff to assist with lugging bags upstairs Place is filthy in interior and exterior. Rooms are in terrible repair. Carpet frayed and lifting in doorways, filthy curtains and blinds, blood (!!!)on carpet, vomit (!!!) on baseboards, old beds, blocked shower drains, no hot water in bathroom sink, overwhelming smell of air freshener through entire building, furniture all damaged with some showing signs of rot, drafts coming through closed windows, no lighting in exterior walkway to your room. Only upside was front desk staff was great about moving us to another room (although it was only marginally cleaner)

   Lovely staff, but the rooms have too many issues to overlook. You’re first hit with the overwhelming smell of chemical fragrance, so strong it’s obviously trying to hide something. Room 25 was mouldy in all areas. Windows and curtains so dirty. Toilet still had poo stains. Bed was comfortable and shower pressure good. The chemical smell made us cough all night and caused headaches.

   Overall enjoyed my stay comfortable beds although duvet inners under the clean sheets let it down they need replacing as they were stained. Room was serviced daily and we were happy with the clean, Liked location to bars and restaurants - I see comments about noise well if you dont like being next to some great bars and restaurants dont stay there we loved it overall great stay

   I My aunt had booked a five-day stay but had to leave after only two days due to the horrible service that was provided to her. Despite requesting a refund for the remaining three days that she did not stay, the hotel adamantly refused to provide any compensation. The room was noticeably dirty upon arrival and had a moldy smell to it. When we called reception to ask for someone to clean the room, they have told her to clean by herself. However, upon closer inspection, it was clear that was not the case. Even after our many requests, the room was still dirty when we returned after spending a day out. The hotel staff was generally unresponsive and unhelpful, and when my aunt requested a refund for the remaining days of her stay, they flatly refused. This was a terrible experience and an absolute waste of money. The hotel's rooms were dirty and the service was appalling. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay there.
