“It’s a tiny drive into the cafe. Drive slow you can zip right past it. Delicious Altura coffee. Lots of food options both in the cabinet and on the board. About 5 or 6 tables outside great on a sunny day. If there’s any left when you get there try the cheese scone !!!”

“Excellent customer service! Shoutout to the young, Korean staff member (I'm so sorry I missed your name). It was a busy afternoon and she was attending to 2 groups of customers already when we arrived. We did have to wait for our turn. While she was letting them have a think, she then asked us what we were after. I showed her the photo of the sale ring I was looking for. She immediately knew where to find it. Got my size and done! She asked if I was interested to see any other items, but I just wanted the one. She politely excused herself from the other customers as they were still looking and took me to the counter for payment. She was so calm under pressure, and so patient with ALL of the customers, not leaving anyone out. She made me feel very valued even if I just purchased a sale item. “I went into this store today with a friend to simply browse. My experience was far more than I expected as I had been in the store once before. I found myself looking at the gorgeous jewellery that they have. The lady assistant was an absolute treasure. Her engaging smile, fantastic humour and her ability to allow me to try the rings on was wonderful. I gave them a call to order items, which were unable to be purchased through click and collect, for a colleague who is based near Whakatāne - for pick up in a couple of hours. The staff members who I dealt with were more than accommodating, taking my order over the phone and allowing me to pay for it over the phone, also. The whole time, they kept me informed of next steps. This is service that is rarely received, these days. But the staff at Bunnings Whakatāne, I felt, went above and beyond with my interaction. “We got 3 bridesmaid dresses from Evolution Clothing and the whole process was so smooth. The team was very lovely and patient and was very helpful. They also had a great selection of colours and styles! Perfect if you're unsure on what you want and if you want to do a bit of browsing. The dresses we picked out arrived very quickly, but unfortunately two of them fitted differently than the samples they had tried on. However, the team was awesome about the issue and re-ordered them as it was the result of a factory issue. The new dresses arrived very fast and the girls all looked amazing on the day! Would 100% recommend Evolution Bridesmaids!!”
