We recently stopped by this café for brunch and overall had a pleasant experience. We ordered the Eggs Benedict ($25) and the Spinach Hunter ($26). Both dishes were fresh, well-prepared, and nicely presented. The poached eggs were spot on, and the hollandaise was smooth and flavorful. The Spinach Hunter had a great mix of sautéed vegetables and eggs that felt hearty yet light. While the quality of the food was definitely there, the portion sizes didn’t quite live up to the price. For meals in the $25–$26 range, we expected slightly more generous servings or something extra to make it feel like good value. The same goes for the coffee—although it was smooth and enjoyable, it was over $6 for a medium, which felt a bit steep. What really made the visit enjoyable was the setting. The café has a lovely, modern atmosphere with a sunny seating area that’s perfect for a relaxed brunch. There’s also ample parking right outside, which made getting in and out super easy. Overall, it’s a charming spot with great ambiance and fresh food, but the pricing could be better balanced with the portions

The avocado smash and the bacon and egg slice was very good. The food was very fresh and full of flavor. The coffee was really good as well and the wait wasn't very long. Will definitely go back!

Outstanding coffee, food and service today at the Artisan in Wiri. Loads of parking outside makes it the perfect place for a work meeting or business lunch, had to grab a quick savory to take away with me as well. Highly recommend to all. James Ashwin Kakapo Business Sales

It’s a tiny drive into the cafe. Drive slow you can zip right past it. Delicious Altura coffee. Lots of food options both in the cabinet and on the board. About 5 or 6 tables outside great on a sunny day. If there’s any left when you get there try the cheese scone !!!

It’s okay, I expected a lot more based on the reviews. Coffee was not good but the food was good quality. It’s really the atmosphere that lets it down, it’s cold and soulless

We travel from Mt Wellington to come here. This morning was nice, good, nice coffee, but what let it down was that it cost $61 for breakfast. My husband wanted an extra piece of toast. The staff delivered it to the table. As the meal was pre paid but the toast wasn't, we started to walk out and she yelled from behind the counter, "sir, you have to pay for your toast" so my husband said, "oh yes, sorry, how much is that" , "$3 ", she replied. $3 for a dry piece of toast!! A bit over the top, we thought. It's those small things that trip business owners up. Could have come to the table and given us a piece of toast for free. No skin off their nose, and it goes a long way in gaining loyalty. This is the sort of thing you may or may not return because of. Shame, really.

What an awesome atmosphere, and the food I received was delicious and exactly what I was looking for. The customer service was outstanding, the young Maori women that helped me was very respectful and well done up. She definitely has respect for her job. It is awesome to see our indigenous people of New Zealand doing so good.
