“Just a note to say thanks to you Courtney and the Village Goldsmith team. Heather and I are delighted with our rings. You listened carefully to us, designed our rings exquisitely in consultation with us and made best use of my mother's family stones and platinum. It's lovely for me to be able to see the stones sparkling on a daily basis, rather than being smothered, sitting in their brooch in a drawer. The whole experience was really outstanding, particularly your warm friendly service throughout and great communication. Seeing the 3D samples and knowing the excellent standards your jewellers work to gave us confidence. All that, plus completion was on time and within budget. Congratulations.”
“I have shopped at Affordable Jewellery Supplies several times, and will continue to do so. Customer Service is second to none, with advice and information freely given by the owner. All items i have purchased have been well packed and very good quality. The times i have had a question about availability, i have been answered the same day. AJS has become my go- to shop for all things jewellery, including tools.”
“My GF surprised me with a very special birthday gift. She had secretly commissioned Nick at the Rolling Mill to hand craft a bespoke one of a kind ring. Nick had researched the geography of the Corromandel Ranges, and managed to create a carved 18-karat gold ring the captures 5 of the ridges and streams in the Corromandel Ranges, plus the profile of the shoreline and the profile of the ranges which is the view out our lounge window. The ridges represent us and our 3 daughters. Inside the ring Nick etched the Kohukohunui Maunga in the Hunua Ranges, with a diamond star for my kuri Ice. This ring is amazing, absolutely incredible!”
“Thank you to Brendan Sloan. very very greatful especially coming up to the christmas time. Very straight foward fast replies, kind understanding & amazing customer service! Thank you Brendan so much!!”
“Wife bought be the intermediate knife class for my birthday, I had a great day, learned so much from Shea and Lena, and I'm super happy with the knife I took home at the end! Will definitely come back to make another knife to add to the set!”
“Super friendly, professional and helpful. They did a great job with the piercings, put you at total ease through the whole process and they gave me great aftercare advice as well. They even followed up to check how the healing process was going. Highly recommend!”
“David remade some family rings into my engagement ring and wedding band as well as my husbands wedding band. He listened to our ideas and gave expert recommendations so we really trusted him throughout the process to create the vision we had in mind. They all turned out exquisitely and will be timeless pieces that remain in our family for a long time to come. It is lovely to have a small local business here in the Hutt and really valued the personal touch we have had throughout the whole process.”
“Entire experience is wonderful. Booking appointments was easy and Ayla listening to my ideas, then coming up with a gorgeous design herself. Made sure I was as comfortable as could be during the actual tattoo.”
“The convenience and ease of navigation on the site is the first thing that catches the eye. An intuitive menu, clear category structure, detailed product descriptions with high-quality photos—all this allows you to quickly and easily find what you need. And if you have any questions, customer support is always ready to help, providing comprehensive answers and expert advice. However, the most important thing is, of course, the product range. It is impressive in its diversity and covers almost all areas of life: from clothing and footwear to electronics and household goods. At the same time, you can find both products from well-known global brands and unique goods from small local manufacturers. What is especially nice are the regular promotions, discounts, and special offers that make shopping even more profitable and enjoyable.”
“Really enjoyed shopping at the Featherston store this week. Penny was really Friendly and super helpful. I left with a gorgeous necklace.”
“I was really pleased by the whole experience of dealing with The Sewing Depot. On the website, there was no option for shipping to Australia, so I sent a message and from there, the whole process was quick and painless. There was fast turnaround of email responses (as opposed to the black box so often experienced), options for shipping, and advice that the goods had been shipped. They arrived within the time advised and the whole cost was less than other online sellers. I would definitely shop with The Sewing Depot again and I recommend it to other potential customers.”
“I’ve been to Union twice now for my first tattoo and second tattoo. Both Craigy and Peachy have been amazing - so welcoming, patient and professional. I really appreciated how they kind they were too. I recommend all my friends to Union!”
“Alexis did my septum the other day and also changed out my nose ring to a stud. She was very informative and professional and also gentle when it came to the piercing part. A pleasure to deal with, highly recommend her and the team.”
“An absolutely amazing store to do business with. There products are high quality at awesome prices. I brought 2 pairs of DVS shoes, they didnt fit my big goofy feet, the Bro Olly at Empire Skate was the most kind and helpful person at talking me through a super easy exchange process so i could return the shoes in exchange for a larger size. Amazing communication thankyou Olly and such a pleasure to deal with. Empire Skate most definitely has me as a satisfied and happy customer for life, i will be making many more purchases from your store. Appreciate you all. A huge big shoot out to the bro Olly, i can not thankyou you enough. Many thanks, Josh”
“If you’re ever in Petone, you should definitely stop here and make your own jewelry! It’s such a fun activity and there are countless beads and charms to choose from (and it’s really affordable). The two ladies working there are really kind and help you with anything!”
“A very big thank you to the Cranfields team. Such excellent customer service – at a level that seems to rarely exist these days: warm, prompt, and informative. Their comms and delivery certainly exceeded our expectations. And the products are second to none. This is a one stop shop for select and luxury items for everyday enjoyment.”
“Triss' great service to our purchase was very professional and courteous to everything we needed. And it needs to be acknowledged, of course, that the craftspeople who worked on those pieces had good customer service in mind too in their timeliness and help. Altogether, a great experience, and I highly commend Walker & Hall and certainly their people such as Triss for the great work. Thank you Triss, et al.”
“Visited this Shop on 19th April and need to advise that a great assistant helped with my purchases making this an awesome shopping experience. A visitor to your city and delighted to get the help I got! - Thank you Chris at Featherston Branch!”
“MM is such a wonderful shop with lovely helpful staff. Their selection of tools and notions is very thoughtfully curated and I often find really useful tools that aren’t stocked in other places. It’s a store that’s run by genuine craftspeople who know what people need to do crafts rather than just standard ranges of marginally useful tat that you find in some other shops. I find it’s always worth a visit when I’m in Wellington.”
“Love this place, bought an amazing Lego hat, my friend bought a leather jacket and we enjoyed the company of the two kind workers when we were in there, Isaiah and Shay. Would 100% visit again and recommend to anyone looking for quality thrift clothes near the CBD.”
“It's a beautiful shop that holds its name well. so many different crystals they got everything you need. And the salesperson is so lovely she knows a lot you can definitely trust her for any questions you got about crystals. I highly recommend that shop.”
“Mike spent ages, carefully repairing a unique trophy, and then would only charge a very modest amount for his time. His craftsmanship is first rate.”
“You can find the smallest of knick knacks, art & craft, simple hardware that you need there. Extremely fun place to be. It is organised enough as a place without being too 'frilly'. Baskets/trolleys for customers available as it is a big warehouse place.”
“Had a great experience today with Hayley! she took so much care in wrapping my poster so it wouldn’t get wet outside and was overall super lovely! Thank you so much ”
“Very happy with their range of souvenirs- some that I hadn’t seen anywhere else. I was able to buy some beautiful, tasteful coaster sets and baby- appropriate souvenirs too for my grandchildren.”
“What an absolute treasure trove of goodies! Originally my daughter and I sought refuge at The Third Eye, due to an angry man yelling and overwhelming my 11 year old daughter - and then we were smitten with what we found in this lovely little Aladdin's cave. We could have stayed for hours! Thank you so much for being so kind and when we're back in Wellington, we'll definitely be back x”
“We had a wonderful experience with Tory and Kirstin finding our engagement ring. We knew we wanted custom made and were impressed with their previous work. When we went to see them Kirstin accommodated us without an appointment and took over an hour just discussing potential options and diamond shapes with us. Within a week we had a selection of diamonds to choose from and spent time getting 'intimate' with the options with the expert guidance of Tory before making a final selection. Once we had chosen we thought it would take 4 weeks to be ready but to our surprise we got a call from Kirstin telling us our ring was ready after a week and a half. To say we are in love is an understatement. The ring is stunning and beyond description. Tory has an incredible talent! Next time we are looking for a custom ring this will be the first place we go. Thank you so much Tory & Kirstin! Sorry the photos don't do it justice because it really is stunning so I haven't added any.”
“Highly highly recommend. Recently I have visited Helen I would say at least 4 times, she and her staff go beyond the call of retail to help, big or small they offer the best service and always with a smile.”
“A gem of a shop (sorry). Inside it's a very cool working workshop with an array of tools and vices etc. It creates a nice vibe of skilled, creative people crafting away. The range of original designs are the evidence of this. We had been looking around town and whenever the conversation came up about resizing a ring or changing a design it was always about them sending away to get it done, sometimes to China. At Patina you are talking to the Jeweler. It's very personal and creates a nice feeling of warmth to the pieces that you buy.”
“Bought a small miffy keychain and arrived very quickly and came with lollies and a free keychain :) thank you so much!”
