Place is open till 9 pm weekdays which is great. This branch is pretty big compared to others such as New Lynn. Staff are friendly and helpful and guided me to an expert to help me. Not all staff are experts, so they may not know all the answers to your questions so have some patience. We're all human ( I hope so)
I normally shop at Mitre10 but had to come to Bunnings on the 10.6.23 for a certain tool. The customer service given was so rude and annoying I had to leave a bad review. I wanted to do a price match on some tools but the person at the tool counter refused me to carry the tools to the customer service counter to price match! So I waited at the customer service counter for 15mim just for them rudely to tell me to get the tools! So now I go back to try get the tools and she didn’t want to give them to me! Now I got to go back to the customer service and wait yet again to do the price match and she was so not interested in doing the match and was trying to get out of it! It was a long and pain for process. Mitre10 it’s so quick and easy and you don't get attitude from the staff either!
Usually on serious projects I do shop in Mt. Roskill branch. On top of being close to my base, also have very friendly and helpful staff. Most of time is open till 9pm and I no issues on any refund and no question asked. Once I ask of a staff to find something that was online, not only located exact place also she teach me how to use the information on the web site to locate items. Very helpful
