“We had such a fantastic experience! Lou was so well prepared and there was a beautiful selection of leather to choose from for us to create our sneakers.”
“Titoki Montessori Preschool has provided a fantastic foundation for both our children. Our older son attended from age 3 to 6, and our daughter is currently a student, having started at age 3 as well. We were unsure at first about the 3-year program but found that the final year at Titoki is especially critical, as the 5-year-olds become leaders for the younger children, which builds their confidence and fosters a sense of responsibility. We felt our son had the chance to learn and develop more during his last year at Titoki than he would have if he had gone to primary school at 5. Our son transitioned seamlessly into primary school at age 6 and was ahead of the primary school curriculum. Both our kids have received an incredible foundation at Titoki, with amazing teachers and exceptional learning materials, Titoki has everything in place for children to develop, while providing a great sense of community. Both of our kids have been very happy there and have enjoyed the learning process immensely. Titoki is an excellent example of the results achievable with the Montessori method.”
“The host Steve is nice and communicatable. We were surprised by the abundant breakfast ingredients offered by Steve. The equipments in this house are convient. The decorations are beautiful. Staying in a storytelling house which used to be a school was special. We had a great stay in The Old School House!”
“I met some most incredibly amazing kids there:) The principal Mrs Dale is dedicated and focused educator. The curriculum and activities are very rich and diverse: science, art, music, sports, cultural. Lucky kids!”
“An absolute wonderful and inclusive school , very accommodating and caring.”
“The school is well organised with very experienced and friendly instructors. I really liked how the instructors explained things in way that always made sense. The classes are suitable to everyone and is very family friendly. The Kung Fu School helped me build my confidence and keep fit.”
“The TRSS Kindergarten is a very special place. Our daughter's teachers model deep listening with patience and tenderness. Working with rhythms of the day and the week, and seasonal cycles of the year, they support our children in forming a deep relationship to nature, and in the process discover who they are and their place in the world. We can only hope that all children experience the healing effect of being truly listened to and nurtured in this way.”

“School has broad international view on education, sees value in and supports bilingual learning, including French and Maori. A place to go if you want your kids to be international citizen, more empathetic and more open minded to other ethnicities and cultures. Like without trades among countries there will be world war, ignoring another cultural heritages risks the stability of the society in long term. The multicultural learning environment is priceless at this school. I reckon if the kids after graduation can't find an intermediate multicultural place to go, consider expand to include intermediate.”
“Uses include rental of the fields once a week. Suitable for large age range with running water provided. Watch for metal pins holding up wooden railway sleepers, very dangerous and random in tree areas of the main rugby/soccer pitch.”
