“My friends and I had an absolute blast white water rafting experience. From the moment we got on the raft, it was non-stop fun, laughter, and pure adrenaline. We couldn’t stop smiling the entire time! A huge shoutout to our guide, Jasper, who made the whole experience unforgettable. He kept the energy high, made sure we felt safe, and turned every moment into something exciting. We had so much fun that we’re already talking about when we can do it again. If you’re thinking about trying white water rafting—DO IT. This was hands down one of the best adventures we’ve had! We’ll definitely be back for round two!”

“The only way it could have been better was if the river magically became longer and if they take notice of a minor safety observation. On our scheduled day the river level was too high to raft but we lucked out and were able to move our schedule around and still make it work two days later. our trip started with the water levels at the highest level allowed. It was intense very quick and it stayed that way. Our guides were great. The Safety briefings to the point and brief. Rafts in great shape. Gear is great although i did see a broken paddle blade in use on our raft which makes that paddle a bit more deadly. We flipped the landing on the large waterfall and then somehow i ended up with the broken paddle which i felt better about as now the dangerous paddle was in my control. It is Memorable. A must do. Their photo team did a great job too. We purchased our pics!”

“We had an absolutely wonderful Lord of the Rings day tour with Kaewa Tours and can’t recommend it enough! From the very first moment, we felt completely at ease with Tom. He does an amazing job and has a great ability to adapt to his guests, making the whole experience feel very personal and relaxed. On our private tour, Tom showed us all the important Lord of the Rings filming locations in and around Wellington, sharing interesting background information and stories along the way. We felt comfortable throughout the entire drive, and all the conversations with Tom were genuinely fun and enjoyable. A particularly lovely touch was that Tom also took photos of us. When traveling as a couple, you often end up with less-than-ideal selfies, so it meant a lot to us to come home with beautiful photos where we are actually both in them. “We were met by our tour guide, Anna, in the lobby of the hotel. We are a family of 4 and had a short time in the city of Auckland and wanted to make sure we saw the highlights and learned about the history, culture, food, etc. We immediately hit it off with Anna. She is so personable and relatable! After we headed out — Anna had a great tempo for our tour, leaving time for questions and exploration. Our tour was booked as a 3-hour private sightseeing walk. She shared the historical sights of the harbor, the key stories and historical activities that have shaped Auckland to be what it is today, and what we all appreciated the most were the things she pointed out to see that we never would have noticed ourselves while out exploring. There was a planned stop at two of the favorite local spots to sample coffee and chocolates which gave a nice rest break and time for reflection and discussion at what we had already seen and what we were about to see. The tour was a mix of the harbor, the town, history, culture— it was not strenuous yet still a good pace and very enjoyable. Highly recommend!!”
