“I did not expect much given it's an airport burger place but the barbecue bacon burger and chips I had was excellent. Friendly service. It's a shame it's in an airport lounge but when I was there, they tried to improve this by decorating it for the festive season. I really appreciate this extra touch. All in all a really good experience that I'd like to have again.”

“Yay! It’s great to arrive at Auckland International Airport in New Zealand and find food you love right away, especially when you’re tired after a day and night of travel. Immediately upon exiting the international arrivals area, you’ll find this popular, relaxed, casual spot to grab a small quiche, a muffin or chia pudding. They offer soy, almond, coconut and oat milk for coffee drinks. They don’t make their drinks too sweet. You’ll find recyclable utensils and straws. Service is accurate, efficient and friendly. And they sell alkaline water in plant based reusable bottles. My tummy enjoyed the kombucha with ginger and turmeric. Way to go!”

“First time we dined in for breakfast, the stereo was a little loud when we came to have a looked at the menus, but it was turn down when we came back after an hour to dine in which we were glad. The foods we ordered were very satisfying, the lattes were not as hot as we wanted to but very nice. Overall, we enjoyed our breakfast, price wise wasn't too bad in considering its location. Reading some of the reviews, maybe we were just lucky on who was serving & cooking on the day.”

“A true hidden gem! I'll be honest, at first we thought it would be a small takeaway place but were pleasantly surprised. The space is quaint and intimate. The staff were lovely and everything tasted INCREDIBLE! The Moneybags were the best we've ever had. The picky pork was also delicious and the portion sizes were great especially for the price. 10/10 will be back again.”

“I visited the restaurant midweek for dinner with my friend. An Arab friend had recommended it. The atmosphere and decor are lovely. The staff are very friendly. We had chicken mandi and lamb tikka, which were truly delicious. The tea was also wonderfully made. If you enjoy Middle Eastern food, I highly recommend it.”

“I will try to leave the most honest opinion possible for future travelers. after having stayed in many hostels in Auckland Hit Hostel is definitely the hostel where I felt the best.. There are inevitably things that can be unpleasant like the fact of not having windows in the rooms, but the spaces common areas completely fill this gap because they make us feel like we are in a large shared accommodation/ Flat where it is easy to meet people because it is a small hostel. the staff and the types of travelers who stay there are great. The staff do their utmost to keep the place clean even if unfortunately the cleanliness of a hostel also depends on the cleanliness of the travelers staying there at a given time and these are factors that we cannot control.. In any case price/quality ratio Hit hostel is the best you can find.”
