“I visited the restaurant midweek for dinner with my friend. An Arab friend had recommended it. The atmosphere and decor are lovely. The staff are very friendly. We had chicken mandi and lamb tikka, which were truly delicious. The tea was also wonderfully made. If you enjoy Middle Eastern food, I highly recommend it.”

“A true hidden gem! I'll be honest, at first we thought it would be a small takeaway place but were pleasantly surprised. The space is quaint and intimate. The staff were lovely and everything tasted INCREDIBLE! The Moneybags were the best we've ever had. The picky pork was also delicious and the portion sizes were great especially for the price. 10/10 will be back again.”

“The food was delicious! The hot chocolate was fluffy and not overly sweet. The Eggs Benedict was seriously good! The friendly lady at the shop was helpful, polite and efficient. Will definitely go again!”

“If Murray is the absolute standard for the workforce here, then you have the absolute best team there is! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Just an absolute top worker who never missed anything and all the details were said. Went through everything and will be driving away with the peace of mind that they wont do dodgy by me. Probably the best ambience in terms of facility too compared to the other ive been on. Lastly, that man needs a raise!! Outstanding!!”

“A great meal to start our holiday. We enjoyed the calamari, although deep fried it wasn't oily and was tender. It would be nice to offer a pan fried version. Caesar Salad with great and the lamb was succulent and full of flavour. Service was excellent. As always had to indulge in the fries and were great. Suggestion, please dim the lights as it creates more of an ambiance. All in all a great evening.”

“Located groundside at the Auckland Airport's Domestic Terminal in the food court with sushi, noodles and McDonald's, I received friendly service this morning. The last thing I'd eaten was cheese wrap thing on the plane and that was three hours earlier. With a name like "Best Ugly" how could I not? Prices are clearly marked on the large menu board. I opted for the bagel with "house chocolate hazelnut spread" and it did not take long until my name was called. The bagel is served in a paper tray that is super easy to take with you through security if you like but I had time to sit and enjoy it here. Slightly toasted and completely covered in spread, this was a great late breakfast.”

“Fantastic service from the gig with the awesome moustache. After totally exhausting long-haul flights from Vietnam back to NZ, I bought a foot long veggie subway. The veggie food on the plane was dire! So I was really looking forward to this sandwich. Unfortunately half way through I dropped half on the floor. The staff member gave me a replacement half - what a fantastic gesture. All the people around me also thought that this was a great gesture. This team member made my day.”

“Best ugly bagels is the best breakfast choice at the Auckland Airport. Yummy bagels with variety of choice for everyone taste, including gluten free, vegetarian and vegan. TAB is my absolute favourite one! Coffees are also delicious! Service nice and friendly and really efficient. Took no time to get our bagels despite the crowds.”

“I did not expect much given it's an airport burger place but the barbecue bacon burger and chips I had was excellent. Friendly service. It's a shame it's in an airport lounge but when I was there, they tried to improve this by decorating it for the festive season. I really appreciate this extra touch. All in all a really good experience that I'd like to have again.”

“Surprisingly for an airport restaurant this actually was a nice meal. The only improvement could be, crisper waffle and a bit more spices on the actual chicken. Other than that, this was a pleasent meal”

“First time we dined in for breakfast, the stereo was a little loud when we came to have a looked at the menus, but it was turn down when we came back after an hour to dine in which we were glad. The foods we ordered were very satisfying, the lattes were not as hot as we wanted to but very nice. Overall, we enjoyed our breakfast, price wise wasn't too bad in considering its location. Reading some of the reviews, maybe we were just lucky on who was serving & cooking on the day.”
