I was shopping for nice New Zealand jumper. Made with a good quality Merino Wool, the staff was helpful with assisting me with the possible options available in store. Good selection of quality items.
I visited on last Sunday night and was extremely disappointed with the service I received from the sales staff. The sales lady I interacted with was unhelpful and quite rude. Here are some specific issues I encountered: 1. **Lack of Assistance:** When I asked for help finding a product, she seemed uninterested and pointed me in a vague direction without any further guidance. 2. **Poor Attitude:** Throughout our interaction, she maintained a dismissive and unprofessional attitude, which made the experience uncomfortable. 3. **Unwillingness to Help:** When I had questions about the strata points collect, she just said no and without any explanation. Overall, this experience has made me hesitant to return. I hope management addresses this issue so future customers receive better service.
Purchased gloves and asked for the tag to be removed to put in my bag. After the tag came off I asked if they are black? No they are deep purple. Can I change them for black? No the tag has been taken off. I explained that I hadn’t worn them. Retail assistant refused to exchange them. That her boss wouldn’t allow it. It was an honest mistake regarding the colour.
There are two locations - one inside and one outside security. I bought a sweater at the outside location and the salesperson didn’t see fit to inform me that there was a location just inside security where the item was much cheaper. The person inside said they should have told me but they couldn’t take the return to offer me the lower price.
I met a lot of New Zealanders. Both homegrown and transplanted. First one I’ve met that was extremely rude. Kept asking me to go next door and shop there cause the socks/slippers are cheaper. I’m sorry. Can I just buy my slippers and pay the price on the tag without your commentary? I’m not sure if she didn’t think I could afford it or if she was trying to be nice or trying to close the store? Either way… maybe just let people buy the products instead of asking them to go next door?
This is the store inside the terminals. Many of the clothes do not have a price tag on, so it's up to them to decide a price on the spot, even the cashier had a conflict with the person who gave me the price. Wasn't a great experience.
Three female staff carried out personal conversation above the loud music. Highly inappropriately made fun of other customers accent at their back after they left. Not a very comfortable and friendly atmosphere that can reflect the greatness of Auckland/New Zealand vibe. Didn’t buy anything from there however found an exactly same store after security point, cheaper price (15%gst return)
