I've been here twice this week. 1st time there was no cold beer and they'd run out of beer on tap. Today they'd run out of tap beer, and run out of all but two undesirable bottle beers and their eftpos was not working, so cash only, and I didn't have any. Both times the staff didn't really seem like they cared. I won't bother again.
Well this place won't last long unless they change their customer focus. In the past I've enjoyed the fact that I could get a draught Monteiths here. This time while waiting for a flight I thought I'd again take the opportunity to have one of my favorite beers. When I got there a sign said back in 10 minutes, I thought I'd wait while my wife went shopping (thinking it was a better option) she returned 20 minutes later and guess what I was still waiting for a member of staff to appear, after 25 minutes I gave up and we went upstairs instead. Read some of the criticism listed here and make some changes.
Service was okay. I asked for a cup of water but was ignored. My order arrived late even though they were not busy.
This place was okay. The guy serving seemed quite...indifferent...definitely got the vibe that he didn't want to be there and was bored sh*tless! I'm always appreciative of gluten free cabinet options which I don't take for granted ANYWHERE, and I hate to be finicky but the bacon in the GF BLT sandwich could have been a whole lot crispier (it wasn't crispy at all, actually) and the majority of the bacon was just the white fatty bits. With an asking price of $9 the sandwich could have been more worth it, but hey, I was a tad desperate. Not a lot of options in this area of the airport!
Sad to report that this is the worst pizza I've ever had. The service was rude and it took a long time to get my food - and even then, the cheese was very low quality and the prosciutto was rationed out in low quantity and it was old and stale. The food was expensive and inedible. Very disappointing experience, I'm afraid.
A fairly standard departure hall with the necessary bars for coffee, beer or a sandwich.
