If I could give zero stars, I would. I walked in and stood waiting — nobody greeted me, despite the place not being busy. I was on my own, as I often travel for work. When I asked if I could take a seat, the staff pointed me to a table with no greeting, no smile — which I can overlook. I then asked if I could sit by the window, as there were two solo diners already seated there and two free tables at the time. The staff asked if I was by myself (again) and when I said yes, they told me that if they got busy and had an influx of people, they would ask me to move because the window table seats four. They didn’t “request” — they told me. I explained that I would not be moving once I’m seated and eating, and that it made no sense, especially considering the restaurant wasn’t busy and other solo diners were already seated at those same tables. There was no apology, no customer service, nothing. At that point, I decided not to eat here. Why would you waste your time? There are plenty of other bars and eateries around that actually know how to treat customers.

We ordered coffee and some finger food, but the coffee was really disappointing—it tasted more like froth than actual coffee. The customer service wasn’t great either. The cashier didn’t seem to know much about the menu, and there was no one around to assist us.

Went to Blue Marble Lane for breakfast and ordered the Eggs Benedict with crushed avocado and the Crushed Avocado on sourdough. The meals were okay, but there was way too much raw onion, which really overpowered the flavor and left a strong aftertaste. For drinks, we had a long black and a flat white with almond milk. Both were fine, just not the best. Service was quick, and the staff were okay, though not particularly accommodating. The atmosphere is nice and quiet, which makes it a good spot for a relaxed breakfast. Overall, not a bad experience — the setting was lovely, but the food and coffee could use a bit of improvement.

Ordered a sausage roll which was meaty and delicious and arrived long before the rest of our order of fries and eggs Benedict which was rather disappointing. The soy latte and moccha arrived hot, as expected but we could not hold the glass as it had no protective sleeve or handles and by the time we were able to handle the heat, the drinks were quite cool. I suggest decent cups for hot drinks, at the very least.

First time we dined in for breakfast, the stereo was a little loud when we came to have a looked at the menus, but it was turn down when we came back after an hour to dine in which we were glad. The foods we ordered were very satisfying, the lattes were not as hot as we wanted to but very nice. Overall, we enjoyed our breakfast, price wise wasn't too bad in considering its location. Reading some of the reviews, maybe we were just lucky on who was serving & cooking on the day.

Coffee very average and thin. One must collect your own teaspoon even when they bring it to your table. Fries below average. Positive 1 friendly waiter out of 3.

Relatively quiet night, ordered around 6.30pm. Waited 45 minutes to an hour, no food. Noticed no one was cooking. Asked what was happening as there were three other tables in the same situation. Turns out the kitchen printer wasn’t working. Ladies at counter said they knew this was an issue and management hasn’t fixed it. Bewildered as to why they didn’t use some common sense and write it down and pass it to the chef instead of just ignoring it. Worst customer service experience I have ever had.

Very stunning place located in the departure terminal. Lovely atmosphere. Bought almond croissants from here and coffee. Loved the croissants. It had a nice filling inside. The outside was crispy and nicely toasted. Would highly recommend for a nice coffee or breakfast. Staff were friendly as well.

This is a really fun bar and restaurant, a great place to relax, get your thoughts together, have some food and maybe an adult beverage during a long layover or flight delay. There was an open table when we arrived and it even had room for us to park our carry-on bags. We loved the beer selection, with at least ten on tap, and we settled on two Panhead Hazy IPAs, one of my favorite NZ beers. We ordered a fried chicken sandwich, which was yummy. We were leisurely with our meal, and since there weren’t people waiting for a table, ordered another beer and took advantage of the airport wifi to get caught up on our email. This was a great way to spend a couple of otherwise “dead” airport hours, and I’d do it again in a red hot second.
