“We absolutely love the pizzas, the base is so crispy and not doughy. The flavours are beautiful. The Quattro is my favourite. Hands down the best pizza in Auckland. The smoked chicken pasta is also really tasty and authentic. Nice work team!”

“Everything about our visit was genuinely impressive. The service was some of the best I’ve experienced in a long time - attentive without being overbearing, and the staff made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was also a standout. It had a great vibe, plenty of space, and a comfortable layout with good distance between tables, which is something we really value when choosing where to dine. The only downside for me was the braised pork. It was a bit on the chewy side and didn’t fall apart the way I’ve had it at other places, so it didn’t quite meet the standard of the rest of the meal. Other than that small issue, everything else was excellent. The overall experience was great, and I’ll definitely be returning.”

“This is one of the finest restaurants in Auckland city. I seldom write reviews about restaurants. My brother was a chef and you have to be pretty good to impress me. It is a popular Middle-Eastern and South-West Asian restaurant with authentic and traditional dishes. It is the "chef that makes the restaurant", not the other way round. The dishes were outstanding! I have just come back from Melbourne city and they blow away the competition over there. They win hands down, nobody comes even close to them. I had Tabouleh which comes from modern-day Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Palestine, and Israel. It is a staple in Lebanese cuisine and has been a part of Middle Eastern culinary traditions for centuries. Greek salad, snapper and lamb. Every dish was fantastic!”

“Excellent food. Nice quirky place. The young lady who served the table was very gentle and kind. We ordered eggplant puree with naan bread for entrée and it was delicious. The lamb shank with mashed potato and rib beef and both meals were superb. It's a shame they don’t have beers but it goes with their tradition. Recommended!”

“A great little find off the main road on Parnell. It was very quiet which was nice for us as a family of 5. Had really generous sized meals packed with lots of flavour. The drinks were nice and cold I enjoyed the passion fruit mojito. Our children loved their meals just a bit large for them. The lunch specials were delicious and very lovely service from the hosts. Reasonable pricing for quality meals.”

“We had such a beautiful meal here for two, restaurant is very authentic and service was great. The vegetarian lasagna was amazing and best I have had in Auckland also my husband had the meat lovers pizza which was very good! We finished off with the baklava for dessert which was lovely. “Hard to find places that are this good! I rarely crave certain dishes or restaurants, and I’ve come here about 5 times, mostly for the Olympus platter shown in the photos. I’ve also gotten the platter with the chicken and a lamb wrap. Everything is so extremely delicious, and amazing value for money as the portions are extremely generous. Truly so rare. I am also not one usually impressed with salads, so the fact that every salad I’ve had from here is addicting is saying something. The lamb and chicken are both super succulent and fall apart, the sides are great, so fresh and flavourful, and everything is amazing value for money, very rare for the quality of food. The second time we went they had warmed up the flatbread which made a massive difference. The dips are flavourful and fresh, tahini dressing on the cauliflower salad is delicious, the chunk of crispy halloumi is so good. The complimentary hot tea is also such a nice addition that I haven’t seen many places. Very high quality of food, service, and bang for your buck. Will keep coming back here are trying more things for sure, but the Olympus will always be a crowd pleaser.”

Perfect steak, crispiest potato’s, a fun spin on the classic devilled eggs, pork chop (excuse my mess) and even the room service Club sandwich was enormous! Washed down with a great wine list and good pick me up coffee in the morning.”

“First time visitor. We ventured over to Devonport for brunch. Made our choice to try Manuka. I had the rost with smoked salmon and small flat white. The rosti with salmon, poached egg was wonderful. Being from Wellington I sort of smiled when I was asked if I wanted my coffee with a double shot, this is a given in Wellington. Coffee was great. Service professional but friendly.”

“Amazing coffee and cheese scone! would recommend booking in advance as on weekend they can get very busy, lucky to get a table without booking the other day. had salmon dish and creamed paua, the price is def higher for the portion you get but the quality and taste makes up for it. and the coffee is def the best in Auckland imo, I would come back even just for a cup of coffee and cheese scone. They are also pet friendly, so easy to take your dog walking around marina afterwards”

“Russian bakery!! Honey cake is blowing my mind…. Light and not as sweet as I thought… Pistachio cake is the one you have to try!! It’s basically dacquoise with crunchy pistachios instead of almond, cream filling.… I have tried chicken liver pie, it also delicious. Nice combination with liver and veg, well seasoned. In general everything is above my expectations. I will definitely come back soon for other choices of pie!!”
