“I really enjoyed my one-night stay at this hotel excellent value for money. Upon arrival, the staff were friendly and even checked us in earlier than the usual 2pm time. The room was large, very clean, and the TV offered plenty of options. My only small feedback would be that the pillows were a bit firm for my liking. I slept well regardless, the shower was refreshing in the morning, and the breakfast was simple yet satisfying. Overall, a great stay I would definitely return next time I’m in Auckland. Thank you!”

“I don't have any bad thing to say about this hotel. Everything was perfect. 24-hour reception, close to the airport, free shuttle bus to the airport. The room was clean and well equipped - hairdryer, soaps and shampoos smelled great, big TV, balcony. I would also like to thank the lady at the reception. I overslept on the day of departure. My boyfriend called at the reception, she woke me up personally and the most amazing thing was that when I checked out the bus arrived at the airport and she ran after me with a bus ticket. I really felt that the staff cared about the guests. I can only recommend it.”

“Good location. From the airport, it is a 10 mins drive by car, or one can take either the Yellow Bus (Airport Hotels bus) or the Auckland local transport bus #38 to reach the hotel. Smooth check-in, good breakfast & cooperative staff as well.”

“Highly recommended accommodation. Great location (12 minutes Uber ride from the airport), on main arterial roads to Auckland's CBD. Spacious rooms with a well equipped kitchenette (fridge, hotplates, microwave, jug & toaster). Great roomy bathroom with great water pressure in the shower and a separate toilet. Room with all expected modcoms like TV, DVD player (with a DVD library at reception) and WiFi. Clean and tidy. Free on site parking. Best of all - great service from the caring owners. Their generous advice and help were a great comfort in our recent trip to Auckland, where we got 'trapped' during the 27/01/23 floods and airport closure. Can't praise them enough.”

“Andrea and team were absolutely brilliant assisting us with the transport of our two cats from Tauranga to Wiltshire in the UK. Communication was prompt and clear and when things went awry thanks to one of our cats picking up a flea, they sprang in to action to get everything sorted out for us, and the cats, and took great care of them when we had travel on ahead. I had lots of updates from them and felt utterly confident that the cats were in safe and caring hands. Would highly recommend.”

“Had such a great experience at this pizza and kebab place! The food was fresh, tasty, and full of flavour. The pizza had the perfect balance of crispy base and generous toppings, while the kebabs were packed with tender meat and delicious sauces. Portion sizes were generous, and everything came out hot and well-presented.”

“I stayed here for one night before my international flight the next morning. The manager was really nice and kindly arranged a shuttle to the airport for just $10, based on my flight time, which was super convenient. I accidentally left my phone charger in the room but had to rush for my flight. After I returned to New Zealand, I contacted them and they were incredibly kind—they had kept my charger safe and returned it to me. Really appreciate their honesty and helpfulness. A great place to stay, especially if you’re flying out of the airport!”

“Can't recommend Book a Ride highly enough for excellent service and affordable rates. We were on our way from Tauranga to Auckland airport to catch a 6:45am international flight when our car broke down half way between Ngatea and Bombay. Had to cancel the flight. AA towed us back to Ngatea where we had to leave the car. No intercity bus in Ngatea, so called three shuttle services to get us back to Tauranga. The first said they couldn't take bookings from a mobile, the second said they couldn't help us, but Book-a-Ride told us they would get to us within two hours. We were impressed with the sincere kindness and helpfulness of our driver Craig (owner operator), who went out of his way to come from Rotorua to pick us up, and who offered genuine sympathy, a comfortable ride in a clean well appointed vehicle (which we had to ourselves), as well as the use of his phone to call our family overseas. And we were impressed that he charged only $80.00 for the service. A brilliant light in an otherwise fairly miserable day.”

“We stayed the night before our early flight in the family unit- 3 adults and 2 children. The room was very spacious for all of us and our bags. The beds were comfy and we had everything we needed. The area was quiet. The staff were amazing, helpful, accommodating. They even had scales we used to weigh our bags. The airport transfers were easy. Felt fine leaving the car for a week with them. My only suggestion would be to put a mirror in the bedroom as there was only 1 mirror in the bathroom.”
