“Traveled from South Auckland to bring our son here for his birthday based off the great reviews and his love for crepes. Specifically only came for that one dish, the crepes, and man they didn't disappoint! The crepes were flavorful! Very tasty! Price is reasonable I spose. Service was great, She always had a smile, kept water topped up, greeted and farewells us. Made us feel comfortable being Hori's in a boujee environment lol Atmosphere is calm and relaxing. Beautiful view. Going back to try the meals on the menu. Highly recommended the crepes!!”

“We went there for breakfast as it was the only one opened at the time. The menu offers a lot of dishes cooked French style, which is quite different compared to the ordinary cafes. There are also jams, croissant and other baked goods for sale, both fresh and frozen. Very nice seating as well.”

“The kopi was perfect. I ordered a cup of coffee with milk and a cup of coffee with sugar. After chatting with the girl who made the coffee for a while, I finally understood why it tasted so good. By the way, their lunch special, curry fish fillet rice, was delicious. It was very authentic Malaysian style, and the compound curry seasoning was great.”

“I decided to try The Cut and found their lunch special. The staff was very accommodating with my preferences and allergies, I'm pretty sure the chef checked on me. I told him it was nice to get a cheeseburger with crispy bacon and while the burger was messy it as very good. I also enjoyed the side salad of spinach, cabbage and cucumber that was very good and crunchy. I didn't want potatoes usually served along side and it was a good decision. I was only able to eat half my burger before I had to leave because of my allergies. I enjoyed the other half a couple hours later after it had set and wasn't so messy and the remainder of the burger for dinner. I really enjoyed this burger and can leave Auckland sastified.”

“I cannot recommend Arno enough - he went above and beyond, including my last minute requests. He was responsive and made everything happen (I am very particular and nit picky). He paired the wines perfectly with the food. The food itself - SPECTACULAR. Arno uses the freshest ingredients and best quality meats, the blends of sweet, salty and fruity were incredible.”

“Great place for dinner! The atmosphere for this place is just right with the lighting going well with everything. The servers were friendly being knowledgeable with the dishes. The Beef Wellington tasted great, the meat itself was cooked perfectly with it melting in my mouth. The oven baked cauliflower was just amazing. The flavours definitely goes well together, having it inspired by Indian spices probably. The price was pretty respectable for the quality of the food, service and place.”

“I had an amazing experience dining at Sidart with my partner. The waiter and waitress were attentive and the food was served at a very good pace - not left too long between the courses. The food itself was absolutely delicious, one of my favourite out of all the degustation meals I’ve had. The flavour combination was unique and finely balanced, and the amount of food did not left me too hungry or too full by the end of the night. Would highly recommend this restaurant to others and will be sure to come back soon :)”

“This restaurant is highly recommended. First, the owner was very enthusiastic and patient when I was ordering. Second, the food in this restaurant is very delicious. It is generous in portion and good in taste. The drinks here are also highly recommended. Plus，What makes it particularly warm is that before meals, hand sanitizing gel is provided on each table. This allows customers to disinfect their hands before eating, which is very hygienic and aligns well with the restaurant's halal philosophy. Overall, it is a restaurant that makes people want to go again after the first visit.”

“They offer good shisha, delicious food, and drinks. They both have indoor and outdoor dining. The shisha is outdoors with heater and they provide blankets if you wish to have one. The place gets really busy no matter which day - that’s how good they are. The food I enjoy the most is their cheesy mayo fries. It’s crispy and the amount of cheese and mayo is not too overwhelming. I also enjoy their Iraqi tea. I never would have thought I’d enjoy a cardamom taste on my tea. It soothes my throat and warms me on winter nights. Their shisha is 50/50 and I guess it depends on who makes it. But it is definitely a place to catch up with friends over food and shisha. Especially when you’re stressed and just want to relax. The staff are very lovely. They try their best to be attentive to everyone, even when busy. They always greet us with a smile. The owner is such a lovely lady and will welcome you like a family. They do have a good selection of meals and desserts. They also have RTDs, beer, cocktails, mocktails, etc. Suitable for all group size. I highly recommend.”

“I absolutely loved my experience at this Nutella Creperie! The crepes were perfectly made — light, warm, and generously filled with Nutella. The presentation was beautiful, and every bite was deliciously rich and satisfying. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick even though the place was busy. “Easily the best kebab I’ve had in a fair good while. Absolutely perfect. Great prices for an AWESOME kebab. I’m not quite sure what kind of seasoning you guys do for your chips (chicken salt??), but holy damn they were so on point. Perfect amount of seasoning and perfectly crispy, Chips really can make or break a meat on chips. Chicken was beautiful, again the seasoning was incredible. Fresh salad and yummy sauces. Good amount of extra cheese. I will be coming back as much as possible. Thank you for a great after work meal”

“We were sitting in the restaurant trying to remember a similar dining experience. We went through all the Sydney fine dining you would expect, extended out to NSW, across Australia and there ended up being only 2 experiences we felt were equivalent. L'en-clume a 3 Michelin star pop up in Sydney in 2023, from the UK that we were lucky enough to experience when they were in Sydney. L'en-clume are coming back to Sydney! we are hoping to get tickets and go again! - we actually still have the Kale plant they gave us as a gift when we left the restaurant, growing in our garden! The second equivalent experience would be Hentley Farm Restaurant The food ate The Grove is superb, truly experimental, truly interesting, but with a keen eye for flavor and the experience of dining. The Horse Mussel and Wasabi, Wasabi were both stand outs, but anything on the menu would stand up in any kitchen in the world. The wine pairing was superb with the palate of @andreamartinisi intertwining and layering the experience of the wine with the food. Service, impeccable. Get in quick, the owners are calling it a day after 20 years and close in late March 2025.”

“It is a cozy restaurant with lovely staffs and I had very nice lunch time there. The pizza made from daily fresh dough，so it had an elastic、 crispy and tender crust，aromatic toppings. They use their original in-house sauce with rich taste. These are completely different from pre-finished meals which are served in other restaurants. Meatballs、BBQ Bacon pizza and Risotto di Pollo are amazed me，if you come here you should try them.”

“Our first time here and we were very pleased with the ambience, food, staff and prices. The place filled up quickly with customers, but it didn't slow down the dishing out of food. The owner was walking around talking to the patrons and the wait staff were quick in attending to tables and bringing out orders. It was very very windy and cold outside, but with the windows closed and the heat pumps on, it very pleasant inside. Will definitely visit again, but maybe in summer when the weather permits us to sit outside and enjoy the beach!”

“Came for lunch, good parking spot right outside. Our server was very polite and friendly. We ordered filetto, risotto e fungi, and tagliatelle bolognase. Nice big portions and absolutely tasty! Eye fillet was cooked as requested. For dessert we had cheesecake and profitroles which were nice. Very nice and clean restaurant and toilets, nice moody ambiance. Definitely will return.”
