“I have no idea why people are giving such bad reviews on this place. EVERY medical centre has wait times, my mother and sister are at 2 different medical centres and they both have to wait upto an hour to get seen. Not to mention my sister had to wait 2 and a half weeks at her centre for an urgent appointment because she was BLEEDING. Which is absolutely insane! It’s actually horrific. Personally my partner, son and I have had great experiences with waiting times for appointments and wait times for getting an appointment itself. Some people just LOVE to winge- and all of these people that have left bad reviews are those people. Go to any other centre and you will see the wait time for an appointment is no different. You can always get a same day urgent appointment here as well- which is incredible if you have children and babies especially! I have a 2 year old son and we have belonged to this centre for years- and I have ALWAYS been able to get a same day urgent appointment for him when he is sick, knocked his head or has ear infections- which he has had a bad run with etc. All of these doctors and nurses are fantastic, caring and so professional. Super great with kids as well. I genuinely wouldn’t change or go to another medical centre! The staff here need a raise or a medal for how awesome they are/ have been. 100 stars!!”

“Doctors and nurses are gentle, friendly and very knowledgeable. I’ve also never had any issues getting in to see a doctor for myself or family when needed. Dr Nadal is really caring and gentle with kids, I always feel confident when leaving that we’ve received the best care.”

“My family and I have all been patients of Dr Patterson for nearly 30 years and we have always found Dr Patterson and Kopata to be an excellent practitioner and medical centre. Dr Patterson always takes the time to listen to our health concerns and never rushes us out the door. I find Dr Patterson to be very personable and he’s great with my toddler. We’ve also found the nurses to be very kind too.”

“I have been going to Newtown Medical Centre for over 30 years and all my experiences are positive. In that period I have had many doctors, all who have been great. Nikesh, who I currently see, goes above and beyond his duties and is very comfortable to discuss issues with. I have never had problems with the reception. I have always found them professional.”

“I came here because I’m studying abroad for one year and don’t have a GP. I visited on Friday around 3pm, and the whole process—from reception to seeing the doctor—took about an hour. I was a bit worried because my English isn’t very good, but all the staff were very understanding and I had no trouble receiving the care I needed. Thank you very much for the great service.”

“Been coming to barrington medical on and off since I was a kid and this medical practice is the best one I've been too. Many people with negative reviews need to realize that the health system is broken not this specific practice. Blame national, not these above solid doctors and staff.”

“It's never nice to have to take a trip to the after hours but the staff at Pegasus are fantastic. They're always so thorough and empathetic. I've been to there after hours twice now for 2 different urgent issues, I've also accompanied family members there when they've had health scares and all those times the doctors there have always been professional and treated us with kindness. They're probably so overworked and undervalued but they still put their best foot forward to treat those that need them. The wait times can be long but it's a great place to go if you want great doctors and nurses and access to a lot of the medical equipment and resources required for a vast array of emergency treatments.”

“I'd like to specifically shout out the ladies at reception in this clinic, because they really are superstars and make the whole process so much easier. Specifically Edyn, she was so lovely and really went out of her way to help me when I was having some issues with the phone appointments. I'm not sure who reads these reviews but if management is reading this give Edyn a raise!! Matter of fact give all the reception ladies a raise because everytime I've interacted with them they have been super helpful and kind, and when you're sick and needing help that's really all you could ask for.”

“I have had 3 visits recently for what is now seen as a bulging disc but was initially diagnosed as a lumbar area muscular- ligamentous injury. The staff on 2 visits were exceptional. The nursing staff demonstrated care alongside good sound clinical judgement. The medical staff were great, communicative and supportive esp on my first visit. I was in so much pain I could hardly walk. I was still in pain, but it had settled with medication action, I felt supported by the time I left. Even though I'm a nurse they were careful to explain detail to me, all while accepting my input and perceived needs. I highly recommend this service if you're in need urgently but don't sense the need for ED.”

“Dr Lucas Lachowicz was the most caring doctor I have been to. Could tell he was actually interested in finding the root of my issues which I have not experienced before. The reception lady was very nice and patient aswell under the busy stressful atmosphere.”

“Not sure about the negative reviews from this place but we have been enrolled here since we moved to Hamilton and our experience everytime we visit was fantastic. Staff were awesome. Came back a number of times for our child's routine vaccination and it was a stress free experience. Receptionists are friendly and our GP is great as always. Booked a day prior with a different GP (Dr. Funmi) and she was helpful and listened to my complaints. Did not appear condescending at all. Highly recommended.”

“I'm 75 and have lived in many places and had many different Doctors. The Fono, Henderson is far and above the best I've ever been a Patient of. Incredibly friendly, ultra efficient, genuinely caring, spacious and immaculately clean. Very easy to get an appointment at short notice. Love them”
