Terrible communication, training needed when emailing patients, not to use threatening language. Do not recommend, use any other medical centre.
I had a really great experience at this medical centre. Dr. Kerry was absolutely fantasticβso thorough, detailed, and genuinely compassionate. You can tell she really cares and takes the time to explain everything clearly. The whole team was lovelyβTanya at reception was warm and helpful, and Dr. Lisa was also amazing. Everyone was super responsive and communicated the whole process really well, which made everything feel easy and stress-free. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for thoughtful, professional care!
Love my poutiri medical center, the doctors n nurses ,also the receptionist,well everyone that works in poutiri medical center,they are all awesome, they all look after you,very respectful, kind,lovely they make sure you get what you need when you go and see them...they have all varieties of health stuff you can sign up too. Weather's it's mirimiri with aunty Kath,or help with counseling or etc. Poutiri wellness is the doctors you should sign up to. Only downfall is it takes like a week to be seen. Besides that they are the best doctors so far.
Rude ,passive aggressive ,lacking empathy and quite toxic at reception and money first before any care ,undermines the good work of the doctors that are there . Their business model is more suited to the care of vehicles at a garage,certainly not to the care of vulnerable people whist unwell β¦β¦was glad to walk out for the last time after many years β¦.avoidβ¦. β¦.there is better elsewhere which i have found locally in TePuke
My doctor Dr Cosgrove was really nice and I felt comfortable talking to him and he helped me. Unfortunately, the receptionists are surly and rude, which makes a doctors trip 10x worse. Donβt work in the care industry if you DONT care.
They need to improve their communication skill and need to cut down waiting time for patients.
I rang up tonight (Thursday evening of a long weekend!) with a very unwell baby at 4.40pm and was expecting to be told no can do, but they told me to come straight in and saw my boy right away! Amazing service, very caring and helpful with my boy who turned out to have nasty croup. He got some meds and perked up right away β€οΈ thanks so much to the lovely nurses and doctor for seeing us at such a short notice- Exceptional.
The team at ate Puke medical center is exceptionally careless when it comes to their patients time. This time the doc I booked in with with was absent and the team βforgotβ to ring the patients. This and the often 30+ min waits are the product of a team that the lack respect for the patient. I am moving GPβs.
I am indeed a patient here. Although my name is protected so I donβt get treated worse. Itβs been up and down with these guys. I think fundamentally itβs the cost, and then on top the reception can be rather unfriendly. However, I think some doctors here genuinely care.
