   I have been going to this medical practice since I was a baby seeing Dr Whitley amazing lady. It is an apsalute shame since North care have taken over this practice they now want to start charging for things I've never been charged for and canceling and rebooking my appointments. I will be changing drs never been treated so rudely before. Bring back Dr Whitley

   I have had several appointments with Dr Reeta Lochan in recent years and find her to be rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. From small things like never listening and speaking over the top of me. To more significant things like not putting through specialist referrals when she said she had, more than once. She has refused to let me talk about more than concern during the same visit stating “I only have 15 minutes to spend on each patient. Whatever the other thing is, I don’t have time to hear it.” I pointed out that because she was running late, my appointment started 25 minutes late, and I had only been with her for 5 minutes, so I think she can let me talk for 2 more minutes and still write up the notes. Yesterday during a phone consultation, she was the most dismissive I’ve experienced. Through tears I told her I was frustrated and that I don’t feel heard, and not just today but every time I see her, that I feel like she doesn’t listen and doesn’t care, she just LAUGHED at me and said she has to go now because she has other phone consults she needs to do. If you’re looking for a GP that listens and cares, Dr Reeta Lochan is not the one for you.

   Moved up here from Tauranga and absolutely disgusted in Reeta. My partner and I had an appointment, when she saw both of us there she rudely asked the nurse who I was, I wasn’t her patient and she’s not seeing me. She proceeded to tell me my doc is someone else not her but when we signed up we did as a couple!!! she won’t see me yet tried to show affection and care to my partner during the appointment, my partner had to tell her what she said and did was unacceptable. We left our appointment and changed doctors. I’m going to make a complaint about this but I see other reviews about this gross lady and seems the Director doesn’t care about patients

   **NEVER ANY APPOINTMENTS OR THEY GET CANCELLED** I have had nothing but issues since moving to this practice a year ago. You make an appointment which always gets cancelled and can hardly ever get in to see a doctor. Never seem to be able to retain their doctors either. Terrible service.

   I’ve been seeing Dr. Pett for 14 years. Some of the reviews I’ve read about him are luckily things I’ve never encountered - he is kind and always listens to me (and actually hears me), never dismissive and when he should be firm, he is (I’m overweight and diabetic and my own worst enemy). I am sad but happy for him easing into retirement. Thank you Dr. Adrian

   I tried to make a complaint about Dr Reeta Lochan.. It never got anywhere. Firstly, there is NO complaints process... I was given a phone number to call in order to make a complaint. A week later Dr Tim contacted. At first he too was sympathetic and he listened. I was feeling happy that I was being heard. I stressed to Dr Tim that my daughter desperately needs medical treatment and I will change our family Dr in order to receive fair and non judgemental treatment. Long story short. We had planned to have a meeting with the big boss (director). When Dr Tim spoke to me again, his tone changed. He said to me, "You seem happy with your new doctor, you can move on" .... Also, "Dr Reeta Lochan told me she knew you were going to complain"... "what do you want out of this meeting? What's the point now?"... "It's your word against a Doctor"... "Do you want heads to roll?"... "Are you wanting Dr Reeta to lose her job?".... No! I replied. I explained to Dr Tim we have the right to fair treatment free from discrimination. My children have the right to advocacy. I know my children better than Dr Reeta. Dr Reeta denied us of fair treatment. I am happy to find a Dr that cares but the point of the complaint is so that other families don't get the same approach we got from Dr Reeta. I have the right to complain. Dr Reeta needs to know her approach is rude and condescending and very unprofessional. I never got closure. I never got the chance to sit down and talk to them about how we were treated during the consultations with Reeta. There is no evidence in writing (email) what was said between us apart from what they wrote on their computer which I never witnessed but Dr Tim stated he has written it down... I could not get the complaint through. I was made out to be a bad person by wanting to raise concerns and I feel cohersed into not completing my complaint. I told Dr Tim he is condoning Dr Reeta's unpleasant attitude and it reflects on the service they provide. He became defensive and was quick to pull away from Dr Reeta by saying she is not a Doctor from their practice, rather, she is on contract.. What ever that means.

   I wouldn’t recommend this medical centre after my dealings with Dr Adrienne Peet who is my 75 yr old dads GP. I contacted him with my concerns for my Dads health and well-being, he was very unwell a diabetic with symptoms of dementia living alone and not managing refusing help. I contacted Dr Peet and explained how Dad had lost a lot of weight and his very confused state he was very unhelpful and when I rang to make an appointment the following day after speaking to him they informed me that he had gone on holiday and was not back till after Xmas....I couldn’t believe he failed to mention to me the day before about that especially as I called 2 days in a row expressing my concerns for his life! A few days later my dad is now in hospital getting the help he desperately needs! Adrienne Peet I’m not happy about the lack of care or responsibility as a Doctor! We are lucky Dad is still with us!
