“I've (unfortunately) had to go twice in 3 days so have been in when busy, and in when it's quiet and every time both myself and my whanau have been treated with the most incredible kindness and dignity, even before we got into the building - security saw we had a collapse on our hands and offered to help us with a wheelchair & showed us closer parking options, through to reception being concise and helpful along with everything the medical team did. “Great practice. Went for a drivers license medical. Booking was easy and straightforward. I was seen to within a week and the person over the phone was super helpful. I was seen to quickly, and the doctor was great. Made me feel at ease and answered all my queries. Reception staff were wonderful too.”

“After years of frustration navigating healthcare as an immigrant to Aotearoa New Zealand, I’ve finally found a GP and an overall medical practice that actually listens, follows up, and has genuinely useful telehealth appointments 24/7 on the app. Not going to after hours or urgent care first is a hugely helpful thing, not to mention a GP as competent as Dr. Dorien, who is friendly and warm and genuinely knowledgeable about a range of issues. I was skeptical of the Tend app but am finding a huge peace of mind from the wraparound services. For how expensive healthcare is getting here, it feels like my money goes a lot further in this practice than it has in years of sloppy and inconsistent healthcare. I NEVER write reviews, so this is from the heart.”

“Have been at Ratanui over 15 years. My doctor is a hero - Dr. Joanna Lang. Dr. Sethi is also wonderful, as is Wendy, the receptionist. I haven’t experienced bad service here but only go to those two doctors. There are a lot of new ones, which is good - please be patient with them, some are very new, diabolically busy and stressed out! We should be glad they’re taking the load off of our old favorites.”

We love Dr Wen Chen as she is so caring and always kind also attentive to our health issues for these years. If we couldn't get an appointment, we can go to Highbrook Medical for alternative. “That blonde lady receptionist was amazing. She saw me carrying my daughter in, she went out of her way and grabbed me a wheelchair before we started. Very polite, funny and service was brilliant. Wait time was fair because nurses and doctors took their time to see and they sent us to Starship which was they taken care of my child. Hats off to hardworking nurses and doctors. Have your break when you need it and God bless to you all for the amazing work for the community.”

“Had a few downsides with getting bookings but Thank you so much to the receptionist antonia for your lovely help when i called the 3rd time round she had picked up and helped me with request of prescriptions as she does when booking an appointment also. You go above and beyond. i hope your getting the recognition you should. “Dr Esther Loh did a fantastic job of looking after my rather nervous and sick 3 year old at the viral clinic. I definitely recommend her. My child is recovering well post her care. I also highly recommended Dr Longworth for children. We have seen him at his previous clinic and followed to Silverdale Medical due to outstanding care. The receptionists were friendly and booking an appointment was far more pleasant than other clinics. The nurse who called to triage my daughter and decide how urgent she was and how soon a booking was to be made, was also wonderful. Overall a very great experience.”

“Everyone's experience with Moorhouse Medical is different I suppose and some people must be pretty upset when they write their review. My experience is simple. I could not get an appointment with my own GP for 7-days so the 2-hours I had to wait at Moorhouse Medical seems like 'nothing'. Yes, I was told over the phone that there was no body waiting...which must have change in the time it took me to drive there...but putting everything into context, I received great service.”
