“I stay there regularly due to work. I find there is no noise from nearby railway line. I've had no issues with anyone there, either staff or residents , have found them all to be very friendly. Enjoy my stay.”

“I stayed at this motel for 3 months as a business trip. This motel was renovated and operated by a family. So no need to worry about the hygiene or cleaness. However, you don't have toothblush (shampoo, treatment, body wash and body soap are prepared) in this motel. Since this motel is family operated, you can't expect them high-level hospitality, but they are accommodating. They sometimes forgot to restore shampoo, treatments and then others but after I asked them for the restore, they gave me bunch of them.”

“We got there super late at night but we're greeted with absolutely kindness and helpfulness. Room was very clean, well laid out as someone else has mentioned and affordable. Best part, the bed was SO comfy! Would definitely stay again if need be.”

“Absolutely loved our time at the hot spring pool! The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The 80s music playing in the background added a fun and nostalgic touch to the experience. What stood out was the careful water maintenance – minimal chlorine and sulfur smell, making the soaking truly relaxing. The different pool temperatures catered to all our preferences, and the large pool with the little cannon-like side was a hit with our boys. The real stars of the show were the waterslides – the fastest and longest in NZ, and they didn't disappoint! The rush of the "Kamikaze" slide and the excitement of the longest slide were beyond words. You can adjust the speed, if it gets too fast for you. We were trying to get it all from the slides, hence the speed fraction bruises here and there ;) but the bum-sliding challenge worth it (I won!!!) The only hiccup was the ice-cold shower, which felt more like a challenge, especially on a dark winter evening after enjoying the hot pools. But in a way, it added to the adventure! The bonus of having playgrounds, an aviary with peacocks, parrots, and doves, as well as free-range funky chickens, gave the place a unique charm. As a family with three boys, we had over five hours of non-stop fun. If you're looking for a great time, this hot spring pool is a definite winner. We're already planning our next visit!”

“I had an excellent experience with the Doctors Hastings. From the moment I arrived, the entire team (front desk, nursing and doctors) were incredibly professional and welcoming. The doctor I saw was highly skilled, took the time to listen to me, and thoroughly explained everything, which meant the world to me while I was feeling so unwell with the flu. Their patient-centered approach impressed me so much.”

Its walkable to everything, lower hutt shops, station village pub. close to motorway, even tho you dont hear it, theres no staff walking round, its quiet, My daughter who is 9 loves it. We have booked 1 bedroom apartment twice, it feels very homely. the only thing bad i could say is maybe a bit more attention to detail on cleanliness, but that is me OCD, its very tidy overall.”

“I'm 75 and have lived in many places and had many different Doctors. The Fono, Henderson is far and above the best I've ever been a Patient of. Incredibly friendly, ultra efficient, genuinely caring, spacious and immaculately clean. Very easy to get an appointment at short notice. Love them”

“I dont know what the other reviewers got but our room has a new bed very clean bedding, it's very clean, kitchen and bathroom are well appointed. Very quiet esp on a Saturday night. Good parking outside our unit. Yes we had to pick up key at 95 Hutt Road abt 5 properties away that's why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. The receptionist was lovely and very helpful. This is a budget accommodation and very very nice for what we paid and rated accordingly against that”

“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. My room was nice and tidy, well maintained, comfortable bed, easy access to the motel and lots of parking spaces. The Managers and Staff are also very polite, friendly, approachable and helpful. The best thing about my room was the big spa bath, it was so relaxing and with the jets going made it that much better, I'm about 6'2 and could comfortably lay in there. I will definitely be staying here again as I travel to Hamilton roughly every 12 days to see my two young daughters who also loved the place. If you're looking for an affordable place, tidy facilities, easy parking, comfortable rooms and friendly approachable staff then I'd highly recommend The Alcamo. “Had to go here for work. This place is an emergency housing building for people who are not as fortunate as you or I. It is kept clean and tidy and I found the residents to be warm and welcoming. There is probably no reason anyone would come here except to be housed. I just thought I'd give it a rap as they do a wonderful job in caring for people in our community.”

“A great experience at the urgent Doctors. I arrived and gave all my details to the lovely receptionist. After 5 minutes I spoke to the triage nurse regarding my problem. I was directed to sit down again in the waiting room and after 15 minutes I was called to room 1. The doctor was so thorough with my assessment and diagnosis. I was so impressed with her even down to finding the chemist that was open the earliest to send my script to 10/10”
