“I stayed at Park Ave Residence as a long term tenant and I must say my stay there was wonderful. The staff were friendly, warm and was always available. The facilities was well looked after by the cleaning staff who did a wonderful job. Some tenants needed to learn how to clean up after themselves but apart from that I would recommend Park Ave Residence anytime. It was handy to town and public transport and the view from the room I was in was awesome. I was is Rm 312. If ever I travel back to Auckland and need a place to stay I will be calling Park Ave Residence.”

“Daughter was sick and managed to get an appointment in the morning. Surgery was very neat, staff were pleasant and friendly, the nurse was just great and made my daughter feel so comfortable. Great Surgery”

“My first welcome to New Zealand. Run by a very friendly and helpful family. I stayed in a nice and clean recently refurbished room with top notch facilities including tea/coffee making facilities, a microwave, fridge, fast WiFi and a good TV with Sky. Very comfortable bed and an impressive shower. The hotel itself is in a perfect location on a good accessible main road and it has plenty of parking. Lots of places to eat nearby and a five minute walk from the train in to the city which itself only takes 15 minutes. Very happy with my stay.”

“Nice tiny room I could live here easily. Shower was amazing! Received a lovely leather bound book from the Buddhist temple..I assume it's free? Hope so I'm taking it home. Room was tidy and clean. Loved it.”

“Cheap hotel with a great location next to Hagley park. Easy check in and out with a friendly staff. Bathroom looked recently renovated. Bed was comfy and clean. Near to nice restaurants (recommend Thai orchid) and a 24 hour convenience store.”

This place helps out people in need and it's definitely not a boring time here lol people tend to keep to themselves but also there's a community here too. The owner Brad is very welcoming and this place helps people stay off the streets so definitely recommend for short or long term stays.”

“Morning calm Lodge is a beautiful 21 acres to stay in with trees. I like being here.it's quiet. there are nice people here . I have been here for a while and I haven't had any problems here the boss and management are lovely people and easy to get along with and very helpful if it wasnt for the boss and management we would not have a roof over heads.its nice of them to accept animals. They are improving the 21 acres to make it more comfortable for the tenants that live here .”

“I have no idea why people are giving such bad reviews on this place. EVERY medical centre has wait times, my mother and sister are at 2 different medical centres and they both have to wait upto an hour to get seen. Not to mention my sister had to wait 2 and a half weeks at her centre for an urgent appointment because she was BLEEDING. Which is absolutely insane! It’s actually horrific. Personally my partner, son and I have had great experiences with waiting times for appointments and wait times for getting an appointment itself. Some people just LOVE to winge- and all of these people that have left bad reviews are those people. Go to any other centre and you will see the wait time for an appointment is no different. You can always get a same day urgent appointment here as well- which is incredible if you have children and babies especially! I have a 2 year old son and we have belonged to this centre for years- and I have ALWAYS been able to get a same day urgent appointment for him when he is sick, knocked his head or has ear infections- which he has had a bad run with etc. All of these doctors and nurses are fantastic, caring and so professional. Super great with kids as well. I genuinely wouldn’t change or go to another medical centre! The staff here need a raise or a medal for how awesome they are/ have been. 100 stars!!”

“We stayed in this hotel and it was good. The bed was cozy and warm and you can feel the old Japanese house, I think. But, I knew the gardens are beautiful and hot showers are there. And there is wifi and I think the people who did a 1 star review is wrong and it was beautiful. I recommend this hotel!”

“We were initially worried with the low ratings we saw, but we still booked it anyway because it is at the location we need. Turn out the rooms were beautiful, large clean and convenient. One has the ocean view. Superb location, close to all the nice eating places. And staffs have been very supportive, they even upgraded our room for free!”

“This was literally the best hotel room I have ever stayed in. They even had a bath tub in the room. Fantastic view of city streets. Great 24 x 7 service, and wasn’t asked for a deposit on the room. And awesome free secure parking.”

“Thank you for your new walk in service and for prioritizing same day appointments for sick children. I was able to come in recently and get my daughter seen too, diagnosed and out within less than an hour (granted the speed could have been a lucky day!) Being the parent of a child with some extra support needs, going to the Drs can often be a very stressful event (for us both!) so the shorter wait time was welcomed. I also sincerely appreciate the fact I didn't have to go to the other local walk in provider and pay $100 to get my daughter seen by a Dr. Keep up the good work, it is appreciated!”

Dr Patterson always takes the time to listen to our health concerns and never rushes us out the door. I find Dr Patterson to be very personable and he’s great with my toddler. We’ve also found the nurses to be very kind too.”

Nikesh, who I currently see, goes above and beyond his duties and is very comfortable to discuss issues with. I have never had problems with the reception. I have always found them professional.”
