A great experience at the urgent Doctors. I arrived and gave all my details to the lovely receptionist. After 5 minutes I spoke to the triage nurse regarding my problem. I was directed to sit down again in the waiting room and after 15 minutes I was called to room 1. The doctor was so thorough with my assessment and diagnosis. I was so impressed with her even down to finding the chemist that was open the earliest to send my script to 10/10

This is not a first in first serve medical care. Urgent is just a word they have used for fooling me. Why do they use the severity of condition system here as it is a non emergency medical service here? My ear infection wouldn't need more than 5 minutes for the doctor to prescript something for it. I don't even mind to pay $75 or more to see the doctor to get things sorted and GO BACK TO WORK and pay tax to subsidise this ridiculous system. Paying $25 to see my GP or $75 here has ended up with 2 hour waiting. What's the point of this?

Dr Dan Smit was unprofessional and honestly the worst GP I've ever been to. He chalked up severe chest pain to 'anxiety' and recommended we go home, we got charged 75 dollars for an 'i don't know' diagnosis where he had already made up his mind before the patient began speaking. 20 minutes later the patient was sobbing from the pain and ignoring his advice, I took her to emergency, where she was seen promptly. Furthermore the way he conducted examinations was unprofessional and not enough information was given, nor enough consent asked.

Absolutely disgusting!!!! I was turned away for wanting to get my medical certificate to show the dates acc have and then was told I could phone up at the end of the week and do it over the phone and wouldnt need to come in only to be told very rudely that no I would have to come in and pay again to get it done! Dunedin urgent care needs to get thier shit together and not lie to patients who originally paid for a service i never actually got!

Went in had chills and a fever at the same time I was 10/10 sick. Reception lady looked like she didnβt even want me to walk in. Was very snappy and rude at me. I just moved to Dunedin at the time so I had no GP. And she looked at me like I was the worst person on earth to walk into a URGENT CARE. Anyways, she proceeded to tell me how expensive it was and added up the fees and made me pay on the spot. Which I didnβt think any of it till I noticed everyone who got seen paid after there check up. I sat there for 3 hours till I was the last person in the waiting room, people who came in after me got seen before me. At this point I was wondering what is taking so long. My one star is for the lovely nurse who was a gift sent from heaven she was the only person that made my experience better. My fever went down to a mild 38 and the nurse asked me why I came in later. Not knowing Iβve been there 6pm. After seeing the nurse, I got called in to see the doctor and I explained my symptoms to her and she says to me βwhat should I do?β I literally told her what my doctor in Auckland would do and what heβd prescribe me. So I paid $132 to consult myself basically. No offence but the doctors down here need to up there game. Pretty useless to me if youβre getting paid a lot and not even knowing what to do. Overall have not went back. And I hope that reception lady has gone because for a place treating the sick she sure knows how to make you feel like a bad person when obviously you canβt control these things sometimes.

Receptionist was rude. I called ahead as advised by healthline clinician as I wasn't sure I could go in presenting with what may seem like covid symptoms. She answered and I began to speak she spoke over me and then said "well if you let me finish" in a rude tone before I'd gotten out what I was calling about. Chill lady

After pay the fee, I waited for three hours. If the doctor is good, it's okay. It's worth waiting a little longer. But the doctor only saw me for two minutes and didn't give me any medication. He also told me that he couldn't help me. If my infection becomes severe after more than a month, come back AgainοΌοΌοΌ!!!!οΌJust ask me go home and rest. Very disappointing .Wasting my money and time.Never come back .

Maybe because it was Saturday 9pm and almost impossible to find nearby parking, but the waiting room was almost empty, and I was seen almost immediately. The doctor was very nice, efficient, and knew her stuff. I was out within 20 minutes and got the prescription filled at the adjacent urgent pharmacy.

Reception was not good and contradicted each other. Was told to sit down and a nurse would see me soon, i asked if i could give them my details to get on the waiting list but was told i had to see a nurse first by one of the receptionists. After waiting for 20 mins and not being seen by a nurse, the other receptionist asked me if i had given my details yet which i had not, so i did that. They did not ask me any of the displayed questions about shortness of breath, chest pain etc but they asked other patients. I was experiencing those symptoms but they never asked. I then took a rat test and waited 2 hours. A nurse came over and did another rat test after i told her i had just had one and it was negative. I then saw the doctor who was ok, but didnβt actually tell me what was wrong with me, just prescribed me medication that i was not told how to take. would not recommend and will avoid going back here at all costs. the appointment also cost $95.

We saw a doctor at this clinic and were told the result from the swap they took would be back within 24-48 hours. We finally get a text 96 hours later to confirm that it is a bacterial infection and if more info is needed to ring the clinic. We do that. The receptionist tells us a nurse would ring back. That was 8:15am in the morning. By 5pm still nobody had called. Had rung during the day to check that they hadn't forgotten about us. We were given the expectation that someone would call soon. The patient in the mean time is rather poorly which was also conveyed to the receptionist. Opted to go to another doctor to get some traction. Had to pay the full fee again of course. Expectation management needs to urgently be improved there!
