   I had an excellent experience with the Doctors Hastings. From the moment I arrived, the entire team (front desk, nursing and doctors) were incredibly professional and welcoming. The doctor I saw was highly skilled, took the time to listen to me, and thoroughly explained everything, which meant the world to me while I was feeling so unwell with the flu. Their patient-centered approach impressed me so much.

   I was there to aprove my cronic prescription and 1st the nurses didnt charged to me the doctor appointment, so they call me and just after, the same day, they call my boss to ask hik to remind me, in a very embarrasing situation, to ask me to come back. 2nd Three months after, i realize he didnt aprove my prescripcion as cronic, so i need to pay 200$ every three months to still having the medicine i need, and just to tell me 'of course you need it', and I have been informed of this in a rude and contemptuous way.

   Came in there after work and husband called in to book appointment so told was walkin so we did. And was told I dont think we got enough time to see you. Lady in the reception said will take time to fill out form and it was 45mins till closing. Saying "I mean I could try but can't make sure we can see you..." in the most hesitant tone. Not an interaction I would like to be in when I'm already not feeling well and mind you this, I came in straight there knowing the hastings medical centre is open but instead got recommended to go there because they are still open. RUDE RECEPTIONIST! No other recommendation for this place but only to get a new receptionist.

   Called to see if I should go here first or go straight to the hospital for what might be inflamed appendix. Was asked if I wanted to talk to a nurse first, I said yes. Nurse called back 15 minutes later, we talked for a few minutes and she made a booking for 40 minutes time. I arrived and was sent to see the doctor, waited for about 5 minutes and was called in. The doctor asked me a few questions then examined me and came to the conclusion that I should go to the hospital. Go to the reception and get charged $72 for maybe 10 minutes with the doctor. Went to hospital ER where they admitted me for appendicitis 6 hours later ( was waiting in waiting room of ER for 6 hours ).

   The doctors Hastings have been a great GP clinic. Reception are very warm and professional, and so far for all my visits, the wait time has been very reasonable. I had a series of vaccinations done recently by the lovely nurse Mel - she was very organized and knowledgeable, proficient with what she did, and answered all the questions I had about the process. She even got me a cup of tea afterwards which made me feel well looked after. Would recommend this clinic to anyone in the area.
