“I live near Taradale Medical, so I am registered with them and have been for over 10 years. I find the service excellent. If I need to get in urgently I usually can, the staff are polite, caring, patient and friendly. I have Dr Michael Koch who is amazing. I use their online portal and he has even responded over a weekend when it has been urgent. Recently I saw an elderly lady bring in baking for a Dr there. I would highly recommend this service and the staff.”

“I am really impressed by this Pet Insurance provider. My boxer has had cancer among other illnesses that have required major surgery. My Huntaway Cross suffers from a skin irritation that requires expensive prescription drugs. The process is easy. Complete the forms, get the vet to complete their forms, email off to PetPlan and presto the claim in lodged. It takes them less than two weeks to assess. Having this insurance is invaluable and well worth the monthly payments. “I have no idea why people are giving such bad reviews on this place. EVERY medical centre has wait times, my mother and sister are at 2 different medical centres and they both have to wait upto an hour to get seen. Not to mention my sister had to wait 2 and a half weeks at her centre for an urgent appointment because she was BLEEDING. Which is absolutely insane! It’s actually horrific. Personally my partner, son and I have had great experiences with waiting times for appointments and wait times for getting an appointment itself. Some people just LOVE to winge- and all of these people that have left bad reviews are those people. Go to any other centre and you will see the wait time for an appointment is no different. You can always get a same day urgent appointment here as well- which is incredible if you have children and babies especially! I have a 2 year old son and we have belonged to this centre for years- and I have ALWAYS been able to get a same day urgent appointment for him when he is sick, knocked his head or has ear infections- which he has had a bad run with etc. All of these doctors and nurses are fantastic, caring and so professional. Super great with kids as well. I genuinely wouldn’t change or go to another medical centre! The staff here need a raise or a medal for how awesome they are/ have been. 100 stars!!”

“Thank you for your new walk in service and for prioritizing same day appointments for sick children. I was able to come in recently and get my daughter seen too, diagnosed and out within less than an hour (granted the speed could have been a lucky day!) Being the parent of a child with some extra support needs, going to the Drs can often be a very stressful event (for us both!) so the shorter wait time was welcomed. I also sincerely appreciate the fact I didn't have to go to the other local walk in provider and pay $100 to get my daughter seen by a Dr. Keep up the good work, it is appreciated!”

“My family and I have all been patients of Dr Patterson for nearly 30 years and we have always found Dr Patterson and Kopata to be an excellent practitioner and medical centre. Dr Patterson always takes the time to listen to our health concerns and never rushes us out the door. I find Dr Patterson to be very personable and he’s great with my toddler. We’ve also found the nurses to be very kind too.”

“I gone to Hill med clinics after suffering from sinusitis for one and half months. I been to some other clinics in christchurch before that and the response from the doctors overthere were awful.They neither had the patience to listen to the patient nor proper diagnostic skills. Fortunately , I got a chance to meet Dr. Catherine Thomas in the Hillmed Clinics. She was absolutely stellar. She listened to my problems and studied about my medical history. Her diagnosis was spot on and she discussed with me about condition and treatment plans which worked out well for me. To put in right words, it was that kind of treatment exactly what a patient expects when going to meet a doctor. A good doctor should be kind enough to listen to her patient and must be able to create a statergic plan discussing with patient which I found in Dr. Catherine Thomas. I highly recommend her for all those who are still in search for a good doctor in Christchurch.”

Nikesh, who I currently see, goes above and beyond his duties and is very comfortable to discuss issues with. I have never had problems with the reception. I have always found them professional.”
