   Thank you for your new walk in service and for prioritizing same day appointments for sick children. I was able to come in recently and get my daughter seen too, diagnosed and out within less than an hour (granted the speed could have been a lucky day!) Being the parent of a child with some extra support needs, going to the Drs can often be a very stressful event (for us both!) so the shorter wait time was welcomed. I also sincerely appreciate the fact I didn't have to go to the other local walk in provider and pay $100 to get my daughter seen by a Dr. Keep up the good work, it is appreciated!

   Took me forever to get an appointment over the phone. My initial appointment was canceled, had to wait till the next day. I was five minutes late because there was a car crash in the middle of Kumeu and was told I'd missed my appointment and had to come back. Im assuming a standard appointment is 15 minutes so I don't follow why I couldn't see my doctor for at least 5 minutes. Im livid

   Its incredibly difficult to get an appointment, if you lucky you might get one if you phone first thing at 8am.. but thats if you get an answer.. been on waiting for someone to answer for 20min sometimesit can take longer. Also so difficult to get an appointment with the same Dr.

   Just to counter some of the negative feedback. I've been going to Waimauku for a long time , but finding it difficult to get an appointment so have used Huapai more recently . Both clinics are short staffed on Doctors , and although its frustrating I understand this will affect appointment availability. The receptionists have been fine for me, I'm expecting quick efficient service, not lifelong friends, and they deliver as I need. Maartje Ament - I've seen her as a GP , and she addressed the issue and set up a specialist public healthcare system appointment where the issue required further diagnosis that a GP couldn't perform at their clinic. Her manner was understanding and professional with respect to a sensitive aspect of men's health , and the clinic followed up on other Awanui test work I needed. I cannot fault her work or approach. I'd give 5 stars if appointments were more easily available, thats my only ( constructive) criticism.

   I miss Angela and Ross, I have been going here for a very long time, this is a prime example where the value of the dollar is worth more than the personal care. Its a real shame and unfortunately this is not unique to Huapai. Life used to be so easy and way more compassionate.

   As a family we have been with this doctors for years, but I'm sad to say we have spent more time at Westgate Medical that here in recent months, who's service has been exceptional. We will be moving there's we can no longer get appointments at TDH. I have been asked to call at 8am for an appointment as they can't be booked in advance. For non urgent appointments, but when I call at 8am, after being placed in hold, I'm then told that there are no appointments for that day.

   Popped into this clinic today with my sick 2 year old daughter, our normal doctors turned us away as they had no appts & we were facing a 4-6 hour wait at a&e, as a mum almost in tears as my daughter was so unwell I tried my luck walking into this clinic, a lovely male doctor took us straight through and was just so lovely & took such wonderful care of us! Thank you so much for your amazing service & kindness we would have been lost without you today.

   A wonderful experience recently with my own appointment and following one for my children. Staff are very calm, listen well and take their time to provide good service. I honestly cannot fault them. I know they had issues in the past but who hasn't in the last 2-3 years anyway. I was left very very impressed with the Huapai Doctors.
