Nurse Anjali was very professional and dedicated staff. Though the clinic was busy she found time to call me back and addressed my concerns ( most of them wont do what they say) and clarified my doubts. I was struggling to get my medical report for the last two weeks during holiday times but she organised it in a fast and timely manner. I wish all staffs be like her including in other GP clinics to make patients life easier.

I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank your reception staff for their warm welcome, patience, and professionalism during my recent visit. Their calm demeanor and willingness to assist made the experience smooth and stress-free. The nurse who attended to me was equally commendable. She took the time to explain everything clearly, answered my questions with care, and ensured I felt comfortable throughout. It's rare to find such a consistently high level of service across both front desk and clinical support.

I took my mum to see the doctor last week at the Grey st clinic and she was attended to by a South African/Indian lady doctor. During the consultation, the doctor kept laughing about the number of medications my mother is taking. I found this behaviour to be very unprofessional and disrespectful. A doctorβs role is to treat patients with kindness and respect β not to make fun of their medical conditions. People take medication because they have health issues, not by choice. This attitude was disappointing and unacceptable. Very bad attitude by a Dr

If i wasn't too lazy to do so i would have left this poor excuse for a medical center years ago. Any simple request on the phone is a huge hurdle and i'm made to feel like a villain for having to almost argue with the receptionist each time i call simply because they can't seem to understand simple admin tasks. This happens everytime you call. They don't listen to you and wait for a chance to cut you off. everything is too hard or complicated and they always end up getting a nurse to call who to their credit, are usually great. Having 4 years experience as a medical receptionist, i am sure this is a complete lack of training. The practise manager needs to be aware how much the reception team are hindering the whole system and feel like an obstacle you need to navigate past before getting the help you need.

If i could 0 star them for my daughter i would! Sheβs currently trying to get a repeat script that sheβs been on for over a year now, no complications but appointments are never available due to drs being sick and they refuse to send her a script. With no appointments sheβs now late for getting a script. The phone line is always full to the brim.. and then they canβt help you when they do answer. In the past sheβs had an βarrangedβ payment plan to pay off her ($120) bill due to covid and a winter of sickness. She got palmed between dr and nurse and charged each time they handed the phone between them. The receptionist has been extremely rude to my daughter every time sheβs rung, putting her almost in tears, they also threatened to withhold health services despite her arranged payment plan being in place with regular payments being made so donβt ever have financial hard times or arrange any sort of payment plan with their staff because You will be made to feel small and useless. This practice is disgusting and weβll be finding a new practice. Iβd avoid it like the plague.

Dianne the receptionist may need to reevaluate her customer service skills. Maybe a course could help her improve. I would never want a receptionist like that at my business. Sheβs rude, and just actually makes me feel uncomfortable. Iβve witnessed her argue with multiple patients in real life and on the phone sheβs not any better. Have been with the GP practice since I was a baby and Iβve never experienced such bad behaviour and attitudes.

Honestly haven't been registered with them long but everytime I've gone in it hasn't been the most welcoming. Tried 2 docs there and prefer Dr Shiri Chand. I don't go much but like that it's local to me & affordable. I don't like not getting set 1 doctor to stick to, you can pick who. I had booked online through the manage my health app to get there today to be told "oh did you not receive the text, the doctor isn't in he's been away 4 weeks". No I did not receive the text so thankyou for wasting my morning and time and I should not have been able to book with him in the first place. Left very grumpy and unhappy. Feel very put off this place now.

Actually relieved that Iβve finally gotten around to registering with another GP. The only real advice and service Iβve had here is from the receptionist. Iβve managed to get an appointment once every solar eclipse as the doctor is always βaway sickβ apparently. And when I have managed to get in front of one. Itβs usually someone that needs help themselves with their listening, since Iβm always having to repeat myself like a parrot. I highly recommend getting a more accurate diagnosis through google before coming here. And if youβre considering seeing someone here. Be prepared to re-book your appointment 36 times before you inevitably die.

Kiaora Westend Medical Centre! It gives me no great pleasure to be writing an appalling & bad review based on my experience with a practitioner within this medical centre. Firstly, I would like to stress at the fact that during my first appointment while explaining to Dr S. Chand about my previous injury to the knee. I had requested a second opinion and was turned down due to my medical records being in Auckland. That's fine, but when came to booking an appointment on the 28th June '21 and attending the appointment, my medical files from Henderson Medical Centre, obviously this time the second opinion was totally different to what the previous doctor had said back up in Auckland. Furthermore, I am absolutely terrified and annoyed at the fact that I was told that "we're running out of time" despite me having a list going through certain details of my health and well-being. A doctor should NEVER have to tell a patient that were running out of time, especially if you are not 100% well and showing signs of coughing, sore throat, etc. I didn't even get to explain or have a proper check up from my previous diagnostic of having tonsillitis by this practitioner. Any way, I rated it 2 star as Shaw at the reception has been really helpful & pretty much a nice guy. Don't get me wrong, Dr Chand maybe a nice person outside of the medical centre but I am absolutely frustrated at the fact that this is the second time that this has happened to me at Westend Medical Centre. I believe it just goes to show it's all about the $. So I am seriously thinking of looking for a different practitioner within the same medical centre or a proper medical centre with doctors who doesn't mention things like were running out of time in terms of your own health. Thanks!
