   I had a very disappointing experience at Hillmed Medical Center today. I was made to wait 45 minutes for my son’s appointment, which is really not respectful of patients’ time—especially when we take time off work to attend. There was no proper communication or apology for the delay. This level of service needs serious improvement.

   My experience with this clinic was extremely disappointing. I felt completely unheard and unsupported during every visit. Instead of focusing on my health concerns, it was very clear that their first priority was money. I was even charged multiple times for the exact same health issue — four separate charges for the same concern.

   I am just so furious on how easily the staff and nurses can tell you go to the 24/7. i just feel that they do not have any empathy/understanding on how long the waiting hours are there.I need an appointment when there is a genuine need. Believe me i do not like to ring you and ask for appointment. please stop taking new enrolment when you cant accommodate the people who are already a registered patient. TA

   Absolutely the worst medical centre experience ever. We went there twice to see different doctors for serious weakness and health issues. They did some tests but gave no medicines, no proper treatment, and no real care. Even after explaining everything clearly, they just said "come again" and charged another fee each time. ... It feels like they only care about taking money, not about patients' health. No matter how weak or sick you are, they act like it's nothing serious. Totally careless, unhelpful, and unprofessional. When we went to another medical centre the same day, they immediately admitted, did full checkups, provided medicines, and started treatment right away. That's how real doctors and professionals should work. Treatment is still ongoing there, and it shows how badly this first centre handled the situation. This place is greedy, lazy, and not safe for anyone who actually needs medical help. Avoid this centre if you care about your health - they are only good at taking consultation fees, not giving treatment.

   This clinic is good, hygienic and quiet. Our GP is Dr. Vinod Singh and he is a nice person to deal with but recently I had appointment with Dr Mary Catherine for my daughter when I felt very frustrated and disappointed. I would like to suggest people to not book an appointment with Dr Mary as she is rude and neglectful for patients. She made me late for 45 minutes (not 10 or 15 minutes which could be fair sometimes) and after that instead of feeling guilty she was showing attitude and responding badly. Totally unhappy from her.

   I am very disappoint after seeing a new Dr today not sure about the name. He did not even let me explain my issue and keep talking over me. Very poor listening skills Dr has. He was in a great hurry just tried to finish everything so quickly. I saw Dr for my pregnancy related issues and then while we are at the front desk Dr said its not pregnancy related even though my midwife wanted me to see GP for pregnancy issues.and they said you have to pay for that. I don’t mind to pay but at least listen to your patients. I still wanted to explain things to Dr but he already came out to the front. What a terrible experience during pregnancy. Usually i see Dr Vinod. He is great but he is fully booked. Team members are nice but i think they should try to give patients more options related to their GP’s availability.

   I have really good reviews of this health centre the staff and doctors are so amazing and my doctor Rolando is amazing and Renee and the other receptionists are great even the nurses when they say they will call me back they do so I would like to give this practice 5 amazing stars good pricing for people too. Keep up the great work!! This will be my practice while in chch.

   I gone to Hill med clinics after suffering from sinusitis for one and half months. I been to some other clinics in christchurch before that and the response from the doctors overthere were awful.They neither had the patience to listen to the patient nor proper diagnostic skills. Fortunately , I got a chance to meet Dr. Catherine Thomas in the Hillmed Clinics. She was absolutely stellar. She listened to my problems and studied about my medical history. Her diagnosis was spot on and she discussed with me about condition and treatment plans which worked out well for me. To put in right words, it was that kind of treatment exactly what a patient expects when going to meet a doctor. A good doctor should be kind enough to listen to her patient and must be able to create a statergic plan discussing with patient which I found in Dr. Catherine Thomas. I highly recommend her for all those who are still in search for a good doctor in Christchurch.

   I have been registered with Hill Med Doctors for a year now. All staff is very lovely and helpful. I visited couple of days ago for my check up and had my appointment with doctor Mary Thomas and doctor Vinod. Both the doctors reacted very quick to my blood test and refer me for x ray as there was a blood infection. I highly recommend them. Always great experience.
