I have had great experiences with the Doctors Waimauku team, they are always friendly and helpful. Their acute clinic is great I was able to get in to be seen with a urgent issue on the same day with Sonya who was awesome.

These people don't care about your health it's all about the MONEY, pay before you see a Doctor or get a repeat Prescription. NO pay no service, how's that for caring about your health? I also agree with the comments in regard to receptionists, rude & abrupt, nurses are average as well, this practice is lucky there's no local competition otherwise they would be gone.

Low reviews for a reason. The most incompetent staff, especially the receptionists who could not be any less empathetic if they tried. Good luck getting your prescriptions sent anywhere on time or to the right place either regardless on if they are emergencies, avoid this place at all costs.

The most expensive fees. Absolutely disgraceful. $62.50 for enrolled, over 25. Unfortunately leaving many many people unable to afford basic healthcare from them.

I know that booking in to see the doctors anywhere lately has been a challenge and that people are quick to complain, however I think it’s important to acknowledge that the issue lies beyond our little local clinic and that the team in there currently are doing everything they can! I had the best experience at Waimauku yesterday. Janine went above and beyond to call me back after my failed attempt at getting a last minute appointment, and got me in to see my doctor 10 minutes later - a whole week earlier than what I ended up booking! I have finally found my ultimate GP who I know will be my regular go-to now, something I’ve been looking for for a while. Dr Mike is so supportive, understanding, thorough and onto it. He made me feel heard and validated and gave me a very informed experience when it came to deciding on the best next steps for my needs. Thank you Waimauku Doctors!

Been with these doctors since I was a little kid so keep going back as I trust them, today as an 18 year old I got shamed because of personal decisions made in my life that were not relevant to my doctors appt and after my doctor had done shaming me and we finally got down to the reason I was in she said “make it quick” even though I waited half an hour after my appt was booked. Won’t be going back.

Been with this practise since 2002 and have sadly seen it deteriorate since. They use to have the best Doctors and always had time to see patents, but now you can NEVER get an appointment same day, typical turn around to see a doctor is minimum 3-5 business days which isn’t practical when your sick…. Now don’t get me started on the rude customer service… reception is a joke hahahaha just check the other reviews as I don’t want to go on an on. We’re moving practises as I type this :)

Popped in this morning to see if they could see my nephew after an accident. Lady at reception brushed us off, the other one didn’t bother looking up. They were apparently snowed under... even though there was no one waiting. Wasn’t so much the fact they (doctors) were busy was the rude ladies at reception who were obviously just gossiping couldn’t be bothered explaining. Damn rude
