“Definitely an amazing restaurant with delicious food at a good price! We particularly loved the spaghetti gamberi and the cannelloni. The desserts looked amazing, but we did not try it as we were full with the generous portions of the main dish. Extra spice could be asked :) The staff is very friendly! The website is updated, so you can find the menu online and check the prices.”

“Let me tell you this place is amazing in all aspects. The food was delicious we had butter chicken and butter lamb for mains. Mix salad and fries with two garlic naan. Two margaritas were so delightful. Service was excellent patient and friendly. Atmosphere we had chill Indian music was lovely. “Probably the best yum cha spot in Auckland! The food quality here is definitely a step above other well-known places. We came for a Saturday brunch with my family and my wife's family, and the place was already busy right from opening at 11am. Every table was full by lunchtime, so I was glad we had made a booking! Ordering was super easy using their QR code system, which showed clear photos of each dish. It was really helpful for choosing what we wanted. We ordered quite a variety, including their popular black truffle dumplings, steamed prawn dumplings, Mr. Lobster deep-fried prawn paste in shredded pastry, deep-fried spicy beans for salad, and a lobster congee to share, along with a few more dishes (not all pictured). Dish highlights: - Black Truffle Dumplings: Absolutely my favourite! There are two versions, and both were rich, fragrant, and full of truffle aroma - a must-try. - Steamed Prawn Dumplings: Fresh, juicy, and perfectly cooked - classic done right. - Deep-Fried Prawn Pastry (Mr. Lobster): Super crispy on the outside and beautifully tender inside. Loved every bite. - Spicy Beans for Salad: Crispy, flavourful, and surprisingly addictive. - Lobster Congee: Smooth, comforting, and generous with lobster - perfect for sharing. Even though the restaurant was packed, the staff were friendly, quick, and attentive. They took the time to answer our questions and made sure we had everything we needed. I have been here a few times now and have never been disappointed. They do yum cha only in lunch time, so it was important to us meeting in lunch time. The only downside is that prices are higher than other yum cha places, but the quality and flavour kinda justify it. Highly recommended, and make sure to book ahead.”

“We just bought a mattress with the help of Joseph - he was so patient showing us around! He’s so nice and kind but never pushy. Even when we told him we wanted to check out other stores after taking at least half an hour of his time - he was still so nice and professional. “I have been to Yellow Mirchi few times. Friendly team here always welcomed us with a smile and delicious food. My kids love Butter Chicken with Cheese Nan. My favorite is Chicken Biriyani with yogurt Raita. Its simply delicious, you will never find this taste anywhere else. Must try. Paneer and Veg curries yum too. Relaxing decor, amazing service, visit and see/experience it yourself.”

“First time we went in for the dine in option. Got a lunch meal deal with a naan, poppadom and drink. Really decent sized servings, a broad variety of dishes to try including south Indian. Don't expect a fancy dine in restaurant but the food is delicious! Recommend the lamb madras and the veg or lamb biriyani.”

“My husband and I went to Bar Savannah on Wednesday night for their Steak and Chips special for only $18, and it was such great value! The steak was a good 200 grams — cooked nicely — and came with a generous serving of chips and a fresh salad. The food was really good, and the service was excellent. The staff were all friendly, and Raj looked after us the entire time. He was great! We also loved that they have pool tables, which we played on while waiting for our food. Overall, a great experience!”

“May 2023 Back again fow a few items in between our regular shop. The store very clean and tidy as usual. Jan 2023 A quick visit was carried out today. Shop is still very clean and tidy. Shelves are well stocked and presented. The self service checkouts are very easy to operate and can make shopping less time consuming. Earlier visit Easy store to shop in. Products are well laid out and there is always a store staff member close by who will off assistance if required.”

From spices and lentils to frozen naan and specialty snacks, they have everything you need to stock a flavorful pantry.”

“Lotus Supermarket is one of those places that can immediately bring back a piece of India, when you step inside. It can be a one stop shop place for anyone looking for a good place to restock their pantry with Indian/Pakistani food products. The store has a variety of options, right from grains and pulses to snacks and sweets. They do have counters in the entrance offering fruits, vegetables and other products on discount. The frozen sections have a good selection of Dairy products, frozen savouries, sweet treats, batters and ready to eat foods. Frozen Indian fruits and vegetables are also available. The spice and grains section has almost all the spices and pulses we require for cooking Indian dishes. The meat section has good quality Halal Cut Meat ( the meat section is open until 6:30 Pm only). It is a pretty big store where you can almost get everything. Overall things are nominally priced and is a must visit for an Indian grocery haul.”
