Went for the first time yesterday & loved it! The place has such a nice cosy atmosphere. The girls working at the front were also super lovely!! shoutout to Adele & Lexy :) such a gem of a place, will def be back :)
Absolutely love this cinema! From the moment we arrived, the staff were so welcoming and genuinely friendly you can tell they care about giving everyone a great experience. The place itself is spotless, with super comfortable seating and a really nice atmosphere that makes movie night feel special. Their food is surprisingly good too, definitely try the pizzas, they’re delicious, and the spiders are such a fun throwback treat. It’s awesome to see a cinema that goes beyond the basics and makes it feel like a proper outing. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely be back. Great cinema, lovely staff, very clean, and top-notch service. Honestly, it’s a destination cinema not to miss!
I’ve been to Beachside Cinemas several times, and it’s always a fun, consistent experience. The theatres are tidy, and the staff are very friendly. If you like going to the movies and want a more snug, intimate atmosphere, definitely check it out! the couches can make for a more comfortable viewing experience than regular movie seats. There are also plenty of great spots nearby for a bite before or after the film!
Glad to see we could have a Zombie Fest for the debut of the movie 28 Yrs Later. Got a chance to watch the entire franchise at one time . Be ready to be spooked by the movies and the live zombies. They are lurking all over the cinemas so therefore don’t “get infected”. Great atmosphere too, you feel like you are in a real zombie apocalypse. However those “zombies and scary creatures” are so vigorous so they always want to scare you, even you are enjoying yourself watching the movie, which is a bit annoying to be honest .
We really appreciated the Team to let us use our grab one voucher despite the event of fire that took place just the day before. The electricity was off, making all the choices limited. We were still kindly welcomed and offered an alternative for the booked experience. Thank you for making such a great experience for us despite the unfortunate event ❤. Kia kaha
Best Customer service. Despite being late they continued to serve us. Food was great. Film was great.
It would have been a great experience as the theatre itself is quite pleasant but be warned it is freezing cold. I noticed this issue has been happening for some time and the staff response was "they are doing everything they can". Management if the aircon is playing up put a heater in there (find solutions not excuses to problems) it was hard to enjoy the movie when you are so cold. Be warned take a hot water bottle and a blanket if your watching a movie here.
Very disappointed. I took my Mum as a treat tonight thinking it would be lovely but not many boxes were ticked other than the movie was entertaining and we enjoyed the pizza and the ice creams. The guy who served us was unfriendly, no smile or hello or enjoy your movie or anything. Didn’t tell us what theatre to go in and wasn’t immediately obvious on the ticket (we were first timers), once we did work it out we walked in and another movie was playing, we weren’t told to take a seat until the theatre was ready, weren’t told when to go in, weren’t spoken to about the pizza flavour, couch wasn’t very comfortable and we had cold air blowing on us on a cold night. Pizza arrived but the ice creams didn’t so I had to go out and ask for them and when I said we were told they would be bought in I was told ‘they were slammed’ and was given two ice creams without nuts which is what was included in the deal. There were only 4 left in the freezer so lucky I did go and get them as would likely to have missed out. Also didn’t seem clean at all. I was really looking forward to a boutique movie experience and was totally disappointed. We run our own business and it doesn’t take much to smile or say sorry for the wait no matter how tough the day is. Needless to say we won’t be going back and won’t recommend to anyone.
