   Terrible customer service. Went to Freedom Furniture Westgate fully intending to buy a sofa, but not a single staff member acknowledged us or offered any help. We walked around the store for a good amount of time and were completely ignored. If you don’t want to serve customers, don’t be surprised when they take their money elsewhere. We left and went straight to another furniture store where staff were actually interested in selling and providing basic customer service. Extremely disappointing experience!

   From the moment we walked into Freedom Furniture in Westgate, we knew we were in the right place. Conveniently located in the Westgate Shopping Centre complex, it’s easy to get to and has plenty of parking, which made our visit stress‑free right from the start. Inside, the store is beautifully laid out, showcasing a wide range of fresh, stylish, and high‑quality furniture. Every display feels thoughtfully curated, making it easy to imagine how the pieces would look in our own home. We were particularly impressed with the massive wooden Mosman dining table we purchased – it’s a true statement piece, solidly built and beautifully finished. Alongside that, we also bought the Dalton Leather Sofa, Dalton Leather Armchair, and Dalton Leather Storage Ottoman. Each item is not only visually stunning but also incredibly comfortable and clearly made to last. A huge part of what made our experience so positive was the outstanding customer service. Both Dix and Joseph went above and beyond to help us. They were friendly, approachable, and genuinely interested in making sure we found exactly what we needed. They listened carefully to our questions, offered knowledgeable advice, and even helped resolve a couple of small issues quickly and efficiently. Their professionalism and warmth made the entire process enjoyable. Delivery was arranged promptly and handled smoothly, with everything arriving in perfect condition. It’s rare to find a store that combines beautiful products, competitive pricing, and exceptional service so seamlessly. I can’t recommend Dix, Joseph, and the entire Freedom Furniture Westgate team highly enough. If you’re looking for stylish, high‑quality furniture and a shopping experience that leaves you smiling, this should be your first and only stop.

   Big thanks to Dix at the Freedom Shop in Westgate for his help this afternoon. I was looking at possible side tables for my lounge, and he did an absolute stellar job of showing me different options. I ended up walking away with something even better than I could have asked for, and at a great price too. Dix was professional, polite, and went above and beyond – even offering to help move it to the car. Quick service, excellent manners, and exactly the kind of experience you hope for. Highly recommend!

   We just bought a mattress with the help of Joseph - he was so patient showing us around! He’s so nice and kind but never pushy. Even when we told him we wanted to check out other stores after taking at least half an hour of his time - he was still so nice and professional. Eventually we came back and bought a mattress from him! We were so grateful for Joseph’s help and he brings such a good vibe - he made our shopping experience so much happier and easier!    Exceptional Service at Freedom Westgate 1) I recently visited Freedom Westgate while setting up my new home, and I was thoroughly impressed by the outstanding customer service I received. Initially, I stopped by the store without expecting to find anything within my budget. However, I was warmly greeted by Dix, who immediately made me feel welcome. He took the time to understand my requirements for a bed and guided me to a clearance item that perfectly suited my needs. Thanks to his attentiveness and product knowledge, I was able to make a great purchase. 2) A few days later, I returned to the store in search of a couch for my lounge. This time, I was assisted by Arun, who I believe is the store manager. Arun’s service was exceptional—he was not only prompt and professional but also incredibly insightful. He took a genuine interest in understanding my preferences and offered thoughtful suggestions that helped me make confident decisions. His calm demeanor, deep product knowledge, and ability to connect with customers made the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. It’s clear that Arun leads by example and plays a key role in creating a welcoming and customer-focused environment at the store. 3) During my visits, I also had the pleasure of interacting with Joseph, who was very helpful and supportive throughout my time in the store. Thanks to Dix, Arun I now have a beautifully set-up bed, couch, and coffee table, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Their professionalism, warmth, and genuine care for customers truly add value to the store.    I had a fantastic experience with Joseph, a salesperson at Freedom Furniture in Westgate. He provided excellent assistance in helping me find the ideal bed frame. Joseph's expertise was evident as he carefully considered my preferences and guided me towards the perfect choice in terms of design and size. What truly impressed me about Joseph was his dedication to customer satisfaction. When the bed frame I wanted was unavailable at the Westgate store, he proactively sourced it from another location and arranged for its delivery to my home. During our interaction, Joseph also informed me about the ongoing promotions at Freedom Furniture. It was during this conversation that he mentioned the discounted Dylon mirror collection, which I had been seeking for a while. I couldn't resist the opportunity and ended up purchasing one of the mirrors. Overall, Joseph's professionalism, knowledge, and exceptional service made my experience at Freedom Furniture truly outstanding.    I don't want to leave any stars, but I have no choice but to leave a review here. I ordered a dining table set with a bench in early March 2023 with the expectation that it would be delivered in early April. However, the goods were delayed without any notice or follow-up email. Only one dining table has finally arrived, while they were all supposed to be delivered together as promised. I have been chasing up my goods every single weekday, and now they say the rest has been dispatched in the system but I have no idea when it will be arrived. The delivery service number for New Zealand never picks up, no matter how many times I try calling. Honestly, should I bill you for the hours I have spent chasing this up on behalf of your duties? I am confused as to who is responsible for providing customer service after payment. If you have the patience of Buddha OR even HIGHER THAN HIM, then you can go and get your goods from Freedom. PS. The deliveries have also arrived late by more than an hour. What a waste of weekends. Awesome team.

   Ordered Duvet set early Dec 2022. Still have not seen it 17 Feb 2023. Customer service number for NZ never picks up - eventually hangs up. Every single time!! contact by email has been answered with apology and referral to the store (Westgate) who are supposed to be fulfilling the order (do you think they've lost it maybe??) and still no contact. Back & forth over emails still nothing. Call the store - no answer either. Honestly shall I bill you for my hours chasing this? Your reply is not helpful as i have tried that avenue to no avail.

   Ordered online and shocking experience from a prestige company. Makes you dont want to shop with them again. Delivery delayed and on top of that they delivered the wrong size of the slats! Called them straight away and even emailed them the pictures and they were even shocked of the size of the slats. A week after we emailed them for the update then we were asked again for the sizes then confirmed in email that we have received the wrong size. What a bloody joke! They said they are going to sort out asap. And they delivered it on the weekend without even telling us or notifying us on the delivery and we were not even at home and they didn't even leave the parcel somewhere safe so we had to wait for couple of days to be delivered again! No compensation from them! Response to the owner: we understand and appreciate the global shipping issues, the problem is being sent incorrect items, waiting over a week for the soloution, getting told they wouldn’t wait for us when they came for delivery and we didn’t know about. No notification from you guys! Our new winkl mattress should be open a week from receiving it but because of the hassle we have gone through of our order it was not opened for a month. Our orders should be delivered by between end of July to 4th of August and we were patient enough on the 2 weeks delayed after the said date however its the annoyance when were given the incorrect order and the time it took to be resolve. So please don’t use the global delays as an excuse. If you read your other reviews you will notice the same issues your company is doing. So please sort out whats the ongoing problem in your logistics or deliveries for your future customers.
