“I have just started on the group classes under Kacie Stetson on a weekly basis. After studying under different teachers I have at last found training that involves great tools to use. Kacie is an amazing teacher! she kicks your arse but her tough love is what gets the goods...you can trust Kacie to guide you on your journey of development. She brings her fabulicious energy and passion to her teaching! Highly recommended.”

“I watched Mission: Impossible yesterday at Event Cinemas in Westfield Newmarket, and I’m so glad I did! The experience was fantastic—such a stark contrast to my visit to Hoyts Sylvia Park the day before, which was extremely disappointing. Event Cinemas truly impressed me. The entire place, from the lobby to the theatre itself, was spotless and well-maintained. I was especially impressed that they have staff assigned to clean the cinema after each movie—something that really stood out in terms of care and attention to detail. The staff were also friendly, welcoming, and incredibly patient in answering all of my questions. Their warm attitude really made a difference. I was so pleased with the service that I didn’t hesitate to book tickets on the spot to return this weekend and watch Jurassic Park! Special thanks to the lovely lady who helped me at the counter with my ticket and drink purchase, and to the kind young man who assisted me after the movie when I booked my next visit. Kudos to the entire team at Event Cinemas Westfield Newmarket—you’ve definitely won me over!”

“Where the world begins its day, In the distant South Pacific spray, Lies Aotearoa, green and grand, A sacred and majestic land. From Cape Reinga's northern reach, To Stewart Island's rugged beach, Two islands carved by fire and ice, A paradise of sheer device. The Southern Alps, a spine of snow, Where azure glaciers slowly flow, Reflected deep in mirroring lakes, While Milford Sound its wonder makes. The geothermal heart beats warm, In Rotorua, 'mid the swarm Of boiling mud and steaming vents, A primal power that transcends. The kiwi bird, elusive, shy, Beneath the fern trees watching by. The Māori culture, strong and proud, With haka chanted for the crowd. The coast is lined with golden sand, Washed by the Tasman's restless hand, And waves that crash and softly sigh, Beneath a vast and endless sky. Of sheep on hills and wine in sun, Where ancient forests are outrun Only by rivers rushing free— A land of pure diversity. A spirit wild, a gentle soul, New Zealand makes the heart feel whole.”

“I like that Westgate Cinemas offers half price Tuesday tickets, especially since movie prices keep climbing. Most of the time I’m fine waiting for Tuesday instead of paying full price on release day, so it makes going to the movies more affordable and enjoyable. The cinema is always clean, the staff are friendly, and it’s a solid place to catch a film without breaking the bank.”

“Going to the movies in my opinion is a special treat, and it helps when the cinema has everything you need for a great time. Hoyts Wairau is very convenient located, and has plenty of parking which makes a huge difference, so you're not stressed before the film looking for a park. Once inside, the comfort continues with plush, comfortable seating that lets you sink in and put your feet up. No cinema trip is complete without snacks, and a good variety ensures there's something for everyone, from classic popcorn to more gourmet options.”

“Saw Avatar Fire and Ash in 3D yesterday, great movie with really nice visuals. Also forgot to take my phone with me when I left the cinema room, but luckily someone gave it to the cinema staff and it was kept safe until the following day. Not sure how to pass on my thanks to the guy who handed my phone in so if he ever comes across this review, thanks a lot for giving my phone to the staff, you're awesome.”

“This boutique cinema I highly recommend for films from other countries that are insightful and memorable. The Documentary State Organs was official contender for 97th Oscars, and win 42 international accolades. It screened August 2025 at Rialto cinema, Newmarket. Transplant human soul collective theme is "want too much another". It is excruciatingly painful for donors, a lot of the time even more so than donor recipients. Liver organ is "regeneration" which can be controlled by being immersed in the Arts- books, film, music, acting. Kidney organs is "marriage ability" which takes a lot of control to manifest the "same right yoke" (Christian term for marriage husband and wife equality). The book Soulmates by Author Rita Roger's is my number one book to describe what everyone has, that one truest love above all, that no one can replace or understand same way. Next year a German Doctor will find me, as he appears in my dreams vividly this year, repeatedly even astral sex lol. Anyway, so this movie State Organs is a documentary to be taken most seriously. I'm a world-ranking University of Auckland Arts graduate in history and media that included: Grades A for Chinese Contemporary Media Grade B plus for Screening Hong Kong Grade B plus Media Studies Grade B for Health Systems This documentary is powerful, and exposes China's state sanctioned billion dollar transplant industry which is forced organ harvesting and brutal prosecution of Falun Gong spiritual believers. Falun Gong protest on Queen street whilst exercising in Tai Chi groups. Transplant abuse even involves tourism to China for this purpose. In New Zealand, there are complimentary alternative healers that can work alongside a Doctor which is what University taught to avoid terminal diseases/conditions. TCM Chinese acupuncture and masseuse on K Road is one good recommendation, as well as colon care in Morningside with colonic hydrotherapy and naturopaths also available. "Human need to poop" is panda animal soul collective theme, which is China's national animal. There is a Facebook group called Kiwis Against Forced Organ Harvesting's that people can also join. This boutique cinema has comfortable seats, tidy, clean with boutique cafe, good for special occasions of film screenings. Highly recommend.”

“I can recommend Backyard Flicks. They were so helpful in catering for our needs, which was a Youth Group for upto 30 young people. We took the full package out. The screen and the sound were awesome and then we had the comfy bean bags and cushions. We had so many people comment on what a lovely evening it was. You don't need to look any further than Backyard Flicks for your Movie evening.”
