“Went here for a Christmas party. The staff were amazing and went out of their way to be helpful. Food was Christmas dinner and who doesn't love Cooked Ham, Roast Beef with all the trimmings. There was veges and salad. Dessert was just as good. The room was festive and well laid out as th not feel squashed. Highly recommend this venue for functions.”

“We've been here twice in the last month, and had a great meal each time. The new owners are really friendly and nice, and the bar has a nice coast atmoshere. On the Halloween night they had a dress up session with prizes, and Nelly was perfect as an Angel. The food is all great. I highly recommend the pizzas and the steak. Both are excellent. If I had to make one improvement suggestion, it would be to perhaps get a a wider range of craft beers. But generally this is a great place that I highly recommend.”

We were served by a super friendly lady, who seems to really care about this place and giving people a great experience. The food was outstanding. Huge portions! “We visited on a sunny Sunday afternoon and the vibe was great. A live band was playing good tunes, not so loud that you couldn't enjoy a good yarn with your mates, and the staff were courteous and friendly. We arrived when it was very busy so the wait time for a cooked meal from the menu was an hour so keep that in mind if visiting when busy. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here and look forward to stopping in again over summer.”

The chicken burger was fresh, filling, and beautifully put together — a crispy, flavourful chicken fillet in a soft bun with fresh lettuce, served with hot, perfectly cooked fries on the side. Simple, comforting, and very satisfying. The steak was cooked perfectly — tender, juicy, and full of flavour. It came with smooth, creamy mash, fresh vegetables, and a rich gravy that brought everything together so well. The portion size was generous, and the balance on the plate was spot on. Everything tasted fresh, well prepared, and thoughtfully cooked. A really enjoyable meal overall, and I would happily order both dishes again.”

“We had lunch here a couple days ago and it was positively lovely. The service was absolutely on point, the food was fresh, and the sunny day made the view absolutely spectacular. We ordered the sashimi plate, mussels, and scallops. The presentation on all of them was great and everything had great flavor. I would recommend this place fresh seafood overlooking the harbor!”

“The place is just a replica of BBQ nation outlet in India. First they serve you all the BBQ dishes (Unlimited) like Chicken, fish, prawn, pineapple and Kumara. They also serve fried fish and potato with sause. You can then go ahead and enjoy the buffet food which has Indian and continental dish (just one). Overall the experience was very amazing and great service. The food was delicious and restaurant beautiful ambient set up gives a very relaxed atmosphere while enjoy the soft music in background. But expensive but worth a try. Good for family and big groups. Try for Groupon voucher to get a good deal and save some bucks.”

“I saw their advert in the local paper and thought I'd give it a try. WOW I was super impressed!!! Great food and super value. I went in on Tuesday for their T-Bone special. Wondering if they're consistent hehehe we went over last night (Thursday) to try their Roast Dinner special and again WOW!!!! The meal was absolutely delicious!!! It reminded me of my childhood and Sunday lunches. A superb local spot, catering for all including families with little ones. Fantastic value for money and lovely friendly staff. “We found this amazing place, one of our favorite Korean food is Gamja-tang. Their Gamja-tang is worth every bite and money we paid for. Kudos to the owner, he is very kind, friendly and all the staff are very attentive, checking customer's need. We are so glad and happy customers, we could not stop talking about this hidden jem!!! Great experience, awesome traditional and authentic food, cherry on top, the service is genuine and more worthy than fine dine in. “First German restaurant for me and I have to say: I will come back. Me and my partmer had the plate A and even if it looks big, if you’re hungry don’t worry you’ll eat everything. Loved the sauce and the smashed potatoes, reminds me of my grandma’s one. I like the fact that you have tomatoes, coleslaw and other salads on free service. We also had the tab german beer and nothing to add you know just a tab beer. But the owner is really kind and gave us a good experience. Boyfriend here, I’ve been to Berlin and the taste is familiar. I vouch for this only german restaurant in West Auckland. Traditional I love it”

We started with the lemon pepper calamari, which was perfectly tender and seasoned to perfection. The truffle fries were indulgent and had just the right amount of truffle aroma, making them impossible to resist. The wagyu beef sliders were a highlight – juicy, flavorful, and served with a delightful balance of textures. The mains were equally impressive. The wagyu brisket was melt-in-your-mouth tender and packed with bold, rich flavors. The lamb cutlets were cooked to perfection, beautifully tender with a touch of smokiness. The goat cheese croquettes were a creamy, crispy delight that added a perfect complement to the meal. To top it all off, the pomegranate sour was a fantastic choice – expertly mixed, refreshing, and a great pairing for the food. Every dish was presented beautifully, and the flavors were nothing short of incredible. The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere of the bar was cozy and inviting.
