The Canopy venue is truly beautiful, the perfect private setting with everything you need. Our guests were very impressed! Barb definitely made our wedding day as stress free as possible with all the help we needed to make our day perfect. we couldn’t be happier with using barbs celebrant services, The perfect celebrant for our day, Barb made us feel very comfortable and relaxed, allowing us to really enjoy our ceremony. Highly Recommended from newly weds Mr&Mrs Dawson.”
“We had an amazing stay at The Roost for my groomsmen, we booked out the whole house and it was perfect for us! Great facilities and a beautiful setting with plenty of space for activities. Linda and Graeme were outstanding and their hospitality was out of this world. Thank you guys.”
“Our first stop after arriving in New Zealand, not too far from the airport which was excellent after a long flight. Cottage was clean, bright and homely. It was so comfortable staying there. So many different spreads and jams provided for breakfast. We enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitant to recommend to our friends.”
“This is a great place to stay in Devonport. The proprietors seem to have thought of everything to make for a pleasant stay. The bed was extremely comfortable. The shower was great. Lovely fluffy towels. Nice little treats left by the bedside. I can't imagine what could have made it better. Also, it's within easy walking distance of a multitude of cafes, restaurants and other shopping.”
“We loved spending 4 nights at Wild Thyme! Our hosts were gracious and helpful, with Bruce picking us up at the ferry and delivering us back to the ferry at the end of our stay. We recommend spending a day touring wineries with Jules. It was also easy to walk into town from Wild Thyme, or catch at bus at the bottom of the hill. The bus took us to additional wineries!”
“It is the little things....what a gorgeous place to stay. Tracy was super friendly and so accommodating. We mixed up our times and she was happy to help. The room was very comfortable and morning tea and coffee just outside our room was perfect. Breakfast downstairs with a beautiful view. We could not have asked for more. Highly recommend and will definitely go back.”
“A beautifully appointed home with stunning panoramic views out across the harbour towards Auckland City. Spotlessly clean, spacious rooms with an open plan kitchen that opens onto a large deck with an entertainers BBQ and outdoor dining setting. A lovely white horse and cheeky Llama graze just yards from the deck - a very calm and peaceful setting. We would return without hesitation.”
“A charming guesthouse on the outskirts of Auckland, quiet and relatively close to the city itself, half an hour by car and conveniently located near the Swanson train station which leads to the city center if necessary. With all the necessary conditions for backpackers A fully equipped and functional kitchen, laundry services, car rental. A great place for a soft landing in New Zealand”
“Great, cozy and peaceful to stay. Very relaxing. The staff are very nice, helpful and respectful. Bed matress may need upgrading. But overall it's great to stay here.”
“We need a place in a hurry due to a death in the family, and we are so glad we found the Silverdale Garden Stay. Lovely rooms and beautiful surrounds. Close to everything you need. The hosts, Selwyn and Dellis, are very accommodating and flexible. Highly recommended.”
“Great place to stay. Kate was a lovely host. The room with a balcony is beautiful and facilities are super clean and tidy. Plenty of space in the kitchen and breakfast provided. I'd definitely stay again!”
“Fantastic hotel, the service was impeccable! Leo was a wonderful host, took care of us and start to finish. And the breakfast was out of this world, more than I could eat, but the best eggs Benedict I’ve had in a long long time. The location of this hotel is ideal, especially as an out-of-town visitor to Auckland. Definitely will stay here again!”
“Amazing view one of the best look out spot on Waiheke island. Very spacious and cozy interior perfect for wedding stay or few families and friends. There is walking track nearby so can enjoy Waiheke best view coastal walk as well.”
“We have just returned from our romantic "mini break" on Waiheke. Studio 1 was a room with WOW factor from the view and privacy of the room to the luxurious linen on the bed! The Nespresso, bathroom products, cleaning products, interior touches and design with feather filled cushions were thoughtful and a welcomed change from the regular "Hotel products" that seem a little "chain storish" at times. The lockbox and other security features were a perfect touch. The local Waiheke wine is exactly what you want on offer when you travel to an island so rich in the winery experience so well done! The craft beer was a particularly satisfying drop and we could easily have had 2 more each. The walk to Mudbrick was indeed short as was the walk to the Oneroa retail, restaurants and the local art. Your location is truly convenient which only added to the overall exceptional experience of packing in as much as possible in this "mini break". The communication from Jan was efficient and we thank you for allowing us to keep our bags in the storage facility while we took advantage of tiki touring our way through the sights. Constructively: (this did not affect our stay in any way) Our TV was stuck on "loud" and for the life of me I couldn't work out how to turn it down so that may have been annoying for Unit No 2. The beer really was sublime, another 2-4 would have been perfection. For avid coffee drinkers who take milk, perhaps 500ml of milk would last better given Nespresso is made with a milk frother) I am sure you get asked all the time for a late checkout as the room is so amazing but that too could be a plus sometimes although I do understand the need for an efficient cleaning schedule. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone wanting to experience "authentic sophisticated service" and hope to get back sometime soon. PS Loved the complimentary Whittakers Chocolates!!”
“LOVED it here. Lovely friendly owners, clean, comfortable and super-cool caravans, and a great common room, kitchen, deck, and showers/washrooms with everything you could ask for and more. So many thoughtful touches to enhance your stay. The trees, ferns, flowers and birds add to the relaxing and unique experience. Would love to return!”
“Thank you so much Bev and the wonderful team for making my stay absolutely perfect. It was just what my soul needed! Beautiful food lovingly made, going to sleep every night to the sound of the sea, hammocking in the gorgeous garden, reflecting on the beautiful Piha beach and catching endorphins in the bush! I felt so free, safe and so well cared for! Lovely too hearing others stories over shared meals too ❤️ Such a wonderful place, doing such amazing things for woman! Much Aroha and thank you all again ❤”
“Views from the deck were amazing The house was very well equipped from the great gas BBQ & outdoor furniture to the kitchen utensils, bed linen & towels The location was very handy for the town despite the very steep uphill climb on the way back! Highly recommended”
“Piha Beachstay was such a beautiful surprise. The location is perfection, you can walk to the beach, hikes, waterfalls, and into town to grab a coffee. The shared space and rooms were incredibly clean. The hostel was very quiet for us so if you are looking for a peaceful stay this is the place. Absolutely stunning location and if the weather is good you are in for a treat!”
“Wonderful. We had exceptional hostesses with Marlene and Tony. Amazing breakfast, everything you would like, our Cream Room was a very pleasant room, everything was laid on for you. Even a hair dryer. You could help yourself to tea, coffee, and for a small fee beer, wine. Cookies to go with your cuppa. Mr Darcy added a special touch. The guests lounge was a very relaxing space. Will go again.”
“The management and staff of Stay at Mission Bay are very professional and respond immediately to issues and/or requests. The rooms are well appointed, very clean and comfortable. All creature comforts have been considered by the hosts and it makes a significant difference to your stay. Free on-site parking is available but the location is very close to lovely Mission Bay beach and restaurants etc that you don't need a car as you can walk, and just a further few minutes walk along the esplanade, you can reach Kohi Beach and St Heliers Bay. Public transport is just across the road to all places of interest including the aquarium, museums, the CBD and more. Our stay was fantastic and the accommodation is well worth the money spent and certainly as good or better quality than a 4-star hotel. I highly recommended Stay at Mission Bay due to its location, exceptional hosts and management and will definitely return on my next visit.”

“This place is amazing. Best accommodation we've stayed so far. View is perfect, the house itself is flawless, and they provide everything that you could think of. Never get to use a proper espresso machine during our trip anywhere before. Capsule was usually the closest to it ever. Gas bbq is also very good and clean. We had an amazing time. Appreciate it, will definitely recommend it to others, and ourselves will go back if we have the chance to”
“Magnificent views your'll never forget”
“Antonia did a fabulous job with our older Schnack (mini Schnauzer / Jack Russell), she came home chilled out, happy and looking beautiful. Highly recommend.”
“Cannot say enough about this wonderful condo. Very clean, comfortable & well appointed. Spectacular view of the harbor. Perfect location, close to everything you want to enjoy in Auckland. Great restaurants close by. Right next to the cruise ship pier & the ferries to the outer islands. One small issue was addressed immediately. Highest recommendation.”
“Wow...love the design of the house, very modern and spacious. Big glass windows to catch the sun from every angle and hear the birds singing de early morning which is so peaceful € This place is beyond its listing, extremely clean with white linen and extra towels, which is so huget, feels like home. Freshness and warmth runs through the house. It's a perfect place to relax and enjoy after a long days hassle. It's 5-10 mins away from Sylvia Park which is so handy.”
“We stayed at Fernhill Cottages for a month while in between houses. Cosy and comfortable and we were able to keep our furbabies with us which was such a relief. We'll equipped cottage with plenty of place to park and it even had a desk to be able to work as well. Thank you for having us Kirsty and Collin!”
“Not our first time and worth every minute of it, apart from the first little bit when we had a bit of a long wait to get seated. The atmosphere is amazing with eclectic decor and the team that served and cooked were brilliant. The meals were worth paying a little more than we usually do for with tender rump loin and then bread pudding capping the session off. Thanks for another worthwhile experience.”
“We had such an incredible stay at M Social! The staff there were so friendly and helpful, absolute first class hospitality. They went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Special mentions for the amazing view of the harbour and the breakfast buffet. We’ll be back next time we’re in Auckland!”
