“This is a great place to stay in Devonport. The proprietors seem to have thought of everything to make for a pleasant stay. The bed was extremely comfortable. The shower was great. Lovely fluffy towels. Nice little treats left by the bedside. I can't imagine what could have made it better. Also, it's within easy walking distance of a multitude of cafes, restaurants and other shopping.”

“This is an awesome eco-friendly hostel, the owner (Ivan) is a legend and he does so many good things for the nature of Waiheke Island. He suggested things for us to do that we wouldn't have known about - we got to help out the local community and got to meet some truly inspirational people. We didn't want to leave!”

“This place is amazing. Best accommodation we've stayed so far. View is perfect, the house itself is flawless, and they provide everything that you could think of. Never get to use a proper espresso machine during our trip anywhere before. Capsule was usually the closest to it ever. Gas bbq is also very good and clean. We had an amazing time. Appreciate it, will definitely recommend it to others, and ourselves will go back if we have the chance to”

“Boathouse Row was the wedding venue of our dreams! It was the first and only venue we looked at because from the moment we arrived on the property, we knew immediately that it was perfect backdrop to our special day. Not only is the venue absolutely stunning, but Lindy is an incredible host – she is bright and bubbly and was very accommodating during the planning stages as well as on the day. She goes above and beyond to make sure things run smoothly and genuinely cares and wants you to have a great experience. Being able to stay the night and wake up for the first time as husband and wife in the very spot you got married the day before also adds to whole experience, we didn't want to leave! Our guests haven’t stopped raving about how perfect it all was, so if you're looking for a venue & host that will make your day unforgettable, look no further. It exceeded all our expectations and more!”

Beautiful food lovingly made, going to sleep every night to the sound of the sea, hammocking in the gorgeous garden, reflecting on the beautiful Piha beach and catching endorphins in the bush! “I cannot say enough superlatives about our stay at the Parnell Garden Suite. Susan is the most gracious host and has thought of every single detail that a traveler may need. We were pleasantly surprised with a well-stocked kitchen with numerous breakfast items that lasted all four days of our stay. The unit is immaculate and decorated in a very modern fashion. Susan was communicative and accommodating. She lives right above the property and very easy to contact with questions. We stayed in over 8 different properties during our stay in New Zealand and Susan's place was one of our favorites!”

“This place is so great it's hard to describe. Amazing location, with a fantastic view of Auckland in the distance. Very calm, very quiet, and to wake up with that view in the mornings is just amazing. I would recommend this to any couple wanting a romantic and relaxing getaway. Plus, Waikehe island is a fantastic place in general, a minor tropical paradise. Don't miss renting a car and driving around the island to visit the wineries.”

“Our wonderful experience at this lovely motel was just magnificent!!! Not only was it less than a 30 minutes drive from Manukau (where we reside) but it was so easy to find :-)). Our given room (no# 1) was clean, comfortable, quiet n worth the money we spent to stay here!!! Tony (the owner) helped us alot n was such an awesome host :-)) thank you!!!
