   Family & friends book here all the time when visiting. The hotel is stunning. Facilities perfect, really is luxury. Good sized tvs with Sky channels. The onsite cafe/bar is superb. Its great meeting place to launch off on our travels. Staff very attentive. Loads of parking. Never disappoints.

   We had a remarkable dining experience at the DoubleTree Karaka restaurant. The food was absolutely beautiful — full of flavour, perfectly cooked, and truly exceeded first-class expectations. Every dish reflected care and quality, making it a memorable meal for our family. The staff were not only friendly and welcoming, but incredibly accommodating to our three young children under the age of five. Their patience and warmth made our visit even more enjoyable and stress-free. We highly recommend their buffet — a fantastic selection, outstanding taste, and truly impressive service. We look forward to returning again soon.

   My husband and I love staying here whenever in NZ. The reception staff are lovely and very accommodating. The rooms are spacious and clean. We have eaten both breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and they have a great selection of dishes. There is also a pool and gym on-site. The hot cookie upon check in is a lovely bonus!!

   Spent the night here on a weekend after a busy week and it was truly a very memorable experience. From the time we checked in on Saturday night , the person at the reception was so warm, hospitable and pleasantly welcoming. There is something about 'Smiles' at the Double Tree by Hilton Karaka.. Everyone whom we encountered from reception to the restuarant had such warm and gentle smiles. One can identify when a smile is 'put on' and when a smile is genuinely from the Heart. All these lovely individuals felt a strong sense of passion to serve their guests at the hotel. What a warm feeling which still resonates in me after returning home. Good luck team and may you Inspire more guests.

   Missed dinner first night because kitchen shut at 8.30 pm. Room was not made up by 5 pm one day. Had to ring and ask someone to clean it. It’s fairly isolated. I was dependent on Ubers.

   The service is very very good. Definitely a warm and welcoming team. My favourite thing about this place is the Korean chicken. Absolutely phenomenal however, i expected the menu to have more options. It was quite limited. With that said, you're definitely paying for a brand. The rooms are fine. Nothing spectacular. If you balance what you're paying compared to what you get, the cost is quite high. Otherwise I did have a good stay

   We arrived late 2am after landing from an international flight. The digital room key was perfect and made checking in so easy! The room itself was lovely. Interior all very modern with a cozy feeling and perfect melt away bed! Breakfast the next morning was great. Highly recommend!!!
