   10/10 experience – we didn’t want to leave! Would definitely return! Receptionist Uini was amazing and super friendly she made the whole process smooth and made us feel very welcome. The room was cozy and felt like home – neat, tidy, and surprisingly spacious. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The location is great! Not too far from the Avondale township - Very convenient. Thank you, Roomie Apartments Avondale, for an incredible stay! We’ll definitely be back.

   Great location with a variety of foods and stores nearby. Rooms are spacious and fully equipped with a full kitchen and dishwasher too. The designs of the room are bright, yet simple and to top it off it’s great value for money! And last but not least the staff are so friendly and definitely make it worth coming back time and time again!

   I highly recommend Roomie! We stayed in February 2025. We are from Ireland, and we used Roomie as a base when travelling around NZ . We had all the security of a hotel and all the freedom of an apartment. The beds were comfortable and the apartments were very comfortable and clean.The water pressure in the shower was great . We had lovely showers there. The staff were wonderful, every time you went to the desk you knew you would get help with a smile. I can't complement them enough. The communication via email before our stay was prompt and helpful. We had connections to Avondale so it was an ideal location for us but if you don't have any connections to Avondale, it is still a great location as the train is across the road from the apartment hotel. You can get the train to New Lynn and there is a mall there with a big supermarket or to Mt Albert to Pak N' Save a cheaper supermarket. It also goes to Britomart, where you can get to the viaduct in central Auckland. There is also a shop around the corner if you need some essentials. Try to book direct as you get some extra perks like free laundry and early check-in than if you use a 3rd party website.

   Roomie apartments are absolutely fantastic. We stayed here when visiting family and loved it so much we ended up booking a few extra more days. The room is super spacious and well equiped. The bed was big and comfortable. The kitchenette area was well stocked and the larger fridge comes in handy. Obsessed with the shower!! We have stayed in many hotels all over the world and I had the best showers in this bathroom! The shower head is amazing! The rooms are really quiet too. There is a laundry and dryer area located downstairs. The staff were all very friendly. The location is actually really good, the train station is literally across the road. We will definitely be back when we have stop overs in Auckland, we usually stay at the hotels near the airport but would prefer to stay here.

   Omg, the price point in comparison to the quality of the rooms, the friendliest of the staff & the amenities, is second to none!!! I immediately rebooked after my first stay & was actually online to rebook a third stay when the survey popped up. I have been recommending Roomie to all my friends as I live outside of Auckland..... ... Now I'm about to get back to booking my third stay (100%... Am happy to have this review questioned or argued!)

   Pro: hotel is super clean, super modern, car part fully fenced super secure. heat pump and water are super warm. Con: we feedback to hotel manager Tim few times that we were being charged more than his quote plus room cleaning team sometimes not follow his hotel manager room cleaning schedule, Tim effectively and quickly addressed these issues Tim is the one who usually talks in smiles among all of the hotel staff we seen

   It was last minute booking and I was glad to book it. It’s a new building with fancy colorful interior. We booked a twin room which was perfect. Really spacious brand new apartment with everything you would need. I would highly recommend to stay at this property.
