Incredible stay in an outstanding location, great styling and cosy atmosphere. Easy to find and having a self serve check in/check out was an added, hassle-free bonus. Would highly recommend and would stay again if visiting Auckland again.
We had the ground floor apartment which was quite old and dated, It was freezing when we arrived, no heat pump, just a small heater which struggled to heat the main living area, bedrooms were like an icebox,, bathroom was very dated not like what we saw in the pictures don't be fooled. The bedroom had ceiling had cobwebs everywhere, even a few coachroaches on the ceiling. Cupboards had sufficient essentials to use. There was a small 50ml carton of milk in the fridge and the tiniest amount of dishwasher liquid in a bottle, I know these things seem unimportant but it makes a difference. Rooms were spacious, view into a garden, dining room was facing the carpark and everyone could see us frim the street, so had to keep the blinds closed night and day for privacy. We washed our clothes and then discovered the drier was broken so had to go to laundry at to dry clothes. Very inconvenient but necessary. I did try to make contact with the office regarding heating and drier. They did not return my calls but arrived the next morning with another extra heater which was better. Not great value for money. We paid $675 for 2 nights for 4 people. Feel we could of got better value ekes where. Location was great one block from mission Bay Beach. Had a dedicated car space to park. But definitely don't be fooled by the photos of this place. There is 2 parts to the apartments, 1 to 4 is in an older building, we had the ground floor apartment. Then there is a more modern part right next door which is 5 to 8, these look way more modern and obviously much nicer.
Perfect Stay at Mission Bay β The Best of Business Travel with a Touch of Bliss I recently stayed at Mission Bay and it was an absolute delight. The place itself is beautifully presented β clean, modern, and with thoughtful touches that make you feel instantly at home. The hand and body washes were luxurious, adding a spa-like feel to my stay. The location is fantastic: close to excellent restaurants and right by the water. I loved being able to head out for a run on the coastal runs each morning, and then spend my days visiting clients nearby. In the evenings, I could unwind with a delicious dinner overlooking the bay β such a treat compared to the usual routine of business travel. Mission Bay truly made my trip special, blending work and relaxation perfectly. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy the best of both worlds.
The management and staff of Stay at Mission Bay are very professional and respond immediately to issues and/or requests. The rooms are well appointed, very clean and comfortable. All creature comforts have been considered by the hosts and it makes a significant difference to your stay. Free on-site parking is available but the location is very close to lovely Mission Bay beach and restaurants etc that you don't need a car as you can walk, and just a further few minutes walk along the esplanade, you can reach Kohi Beach and St Heliers Bay. Public transport is just across the road to all places of interest including the aquarium, museums, the CBD and more. Our stay was fantastic and the accommodation is well worth the money spent and certainly as good or better quality than a 4-star hotel. I highly recommended Stay at Mission Bay due to its location, exceptional hosts and management and will definitely return on my next visit.
Great location in Mission Bay. I had to use the street parking but it was never a problem. Right around the corner from all the great restaurants and cafes in Mission Bay. Thereβs a New World supermarket at the other end of Patteson Ave for other needs. The room was quite sufficient for my three days there. Small kitchenette, fridge, sink so I could wash cups and plates. Large shower with soap, shampoo and conditioner. Comfortable bed and table with two chairs. Small stand for clothes. I did get the third floor so I wouldnβt recommend if you have a lot of luggage as the stairs are narrow.
Very happy with our stay at Stay Coastal. It's a great location in mission bay, just literally by the Bay with short few minutes walk. Have few food choices just next to the block very convenient. Love this area, lovely place to explore. The group is very professional run. Communication was responsive. Although a bit pricey but can see the value with the quality furnishings and kitchenware given. It's a little funny to have bunk beds literally in the kitchen, I guess that's the only way to fit the extra bedding which is really helpful. My kids not bothered with me working in the kitchen early morning for laundry and all so it works fine for us. Highly recommended.
Stat Mission Bay was perfect! From check-in to check-out, there was no inconvenience at all, and the convenience of the accommodation was the best. There's nothing missing from kitchen utensils to the latest media. Access to nearby restaurants, cafes, and beaches is also very good. There were times when there was some noise because there was a large floating population, but it was not too uncomfortable. If I go to Mission Bay, I will find it again.
Stunning apartment in a prime location in Mission Bay with cafΓ©s and waterfront just a few steps away. Place was spotless, well-eqipped, with comfy beds. Easy, efficient communication with the host and hassle-free access to the accommodation. A little bit of luxury for the weekend. Worth the cost.
Absolutely stunning, dog friendly apartment, in a fantastic location. Plenty of garden space for my dog to play. Every detail has been considered. Highly recommend.
