“Auckland Zoo is an easy standout. The staff and volunteers are genuinely friendly and make the whole place feel welcoming. The animals look well cared for and the habitats are clean and well maintained. Plenty to keep the kids entertained with lots of space to explore and learn. Also, the coffee at the front cafe is surprisingly good which is always a win. A smooth, enjoyable visit from start to finish. Great place for families. Parking was closed due to renovations, so we had to park near MOTAT. Nice walk through the park though.”

“I'm going on an adventure! While researching and planning our adventure through Middle Earth, we stumbled across Red Carpet Tours. I was slightly skeptical of a one stop shop but am so glad I booked with them. The entire experience was magical. Not only did we get to visit some iconic LOTR and Hobbit locations (as well as recreate some monumental scenes), we had the opportunity to see and hear about countless other parts of both the north and south islands of New Zealand. Julie and her team planned everything perfectly and made the trip entirely effortless. If you're an LOTR enthusiast or hard core Tolkien nerd, this is the tour for you. If you want to meet awesome people and see beautiful sites, this is the tour for you. If you wanna eat, drink and be merry, this is the tour for you. Basically this is the tour for everyone! I can't thank Julie enough for taking such great care of us and making our honeymoon the fantastic, fabulous, phenomenal adventure it was. I can't wait to come back!”

“The first thing I want to say is how lucky I was to make the right decision. My son is three years old, and before that I visited a lot of places and did a lot of research. I knew a little bit about the environment before I came here and courses are great. I didn't expect too much for the teachers to be so friendly and responsible. For me, the feelings and experiences of children are more important than anything else. Because my son has not attended any day care before, his native language is not English, and his grandmother often takes care of him went back home for a period of time, which makes me worried about whether he will adapt to the new environment. All teachers, the front desk staff and the centre manager all understood my concerns and cooperated with each other to help my son to adapt faster and better. After two weeks transiting,my son is happy to stay and not crying after we drop him off. I am really grateful to the teachers there and this is the most responsible place I have encountered. They will understand the parents' thoughts and concerns, and work together, everything is for the sake of the child. Hope my son will have a wonderful journey in kakapo creek.”

“Fantastic experience for locals and tourists alike. The pricing is very fair considering what’s involved. You’re given a fair choice of courses to partake in to suit all ages. The courses are various, which keeps it interesting no matter your skill level or confidence with heights. At heights varying from 1 to 10 metres, you’ll have to go through tunnels, across beams, weave in between posts or even just walk the tightrope with nothing but a cable to keep your balance. Highly recommend the day out.”

The weather was beautiful when we visited around noon, and our two kids couldn’t have been happier. They have a huge and very well maintained farm. All kids and adults enjoyed the animal encounters and kids just loved the pony and horse rides. Nobody was rushed and kids had multiple rides. We really enjoyed and I can’t recommend this place enough for its hospitality. God bless them.”
