“Booked the new tui cabin for the night to crash after a work do at the surf club. Camp is tidy as, cabin was awesome, Cosy bed, staff very friendly and informative at check in Mint location for those staying out of the area, come and visit”

“Easy check-in. The room was very nice with a retro style. The bathroom was HUGE, the shower was a great size with a fold down seat and a washer / dryer combo machine. The Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa is a 5 min walk and a must visit to see the Gallipoli: The Scale of Our War exhibition. Lots of restaurants close by! Parking can be tough to find!”

“⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ✅ ✅ ✅ ✅ ✅ Super tidy, clean, comfortable and central accommodation. And what I mean by that is possibly the cleanest and freshest place I have stayed at in a long time. Speaking to the owners in the morning it is approx 5 years old, so credit to the cleaners and maintenance team as this literally feels brand new. Bed and pillows were comfortable, the kitchen has literally everything you need if staying for slightly longer in a super cute, compact and functional kitchenette. I would def recommend for work trips, both short and longer. Couples escapes (try get harbour views if couples), or solo mental health get aways.”

“Sealed road all the way to the campsite. Stunning place to relax along the Mohaka River. We stayed one night and woke up to amazing birdsong in the morning. The sound of water at night is peaceful too. Would definitely recommend if you're wanting a place to stay between Napier and Taupo.”

“Loved the location of this place! Next to Cafe and 10 mins walk to the nearest mall! Also direct bus services to the city and around and just next to the Morningside Train station! Great if you don’t own a car or a looking for an intermediate place to rent between places! Enjoyed a private stay. Although having your own network would be great and good if you don’t mind abit of husstle and bustle till late as the place bar near by is rather busy on weekends and some weekdays :)”

We were traveling through Christchurch when we decided to stay an extra night to visit friends for dinner quickly booked this place on booking.com easy as service just pulled up needed a PIN code to get into the house and had everything wifi hot shower clean tidy bedroom. We will definitely recommend to other friends and family. May even come back though and stay a night on our way back.”

“I stayed in November 2024 for 2 days with a late check out. I wanted to give this motel a review as I found the staff extremely helpful as it was my first time in Christchurch. I want to commend the staff making our stay great. The location is fantastic - great bus routes to airport, city and beyond and the Riccarton Mall literally across the road. Being self contained and having a mall across the road made it easy to get supplies to cook food etc. I really recommend Dean Bush Motel - ring them instead of going thru a book app to get the best deal.”

“Just want to thank the lovely family who manage the Vita Nova Motel for a great stay. We landed at midnight and we were able to arrange a late checkin. The unit was really clean, bed was so comfortable, Netflix to chill out at night, had all the necessary amenities and great service. Daily house keeping was excellent, she was thorough and showed great attention to detail. Laundry facilities were useful. Location was great, central to everything. Would definitely stay again. “Such an amazing place! The Strother family is such a delight and the place was the perfect spot to visit locations nearby like Hobbiton and the Waitomo Glowworm caves. Also they have horses and cows you can say hi to too. It was a perfect stay and I will visit there again next time I'm in New Zealand.”
