   Great friendly staff, across from the Westfield shopping centre, close to Riccarton restaurants, Tokyo mart across the road. There is a bus station a walk away. Great if you don't have a rental car. Clean, tidy and modern rooms, kitchenette with microwaves. They even offer the old school carton cup of real milk at check in, fantastic. The bathrooms are always good with a powerful showerhead. This is always my go to when visiting Christchurch.

   I stayed in November 2024 for 2 days with a late check out. I wanted to give this motel a review as I found the staff extremely helpful as it was my first time in Christchurch. I want to commend the staff making our stay great. The location is fantastic - great bus routes to airport, city and beyond and the Riccarton Mall literally across the road. Being self contained and having a mall across the road made it easy to get supplies to cook food etc. I really recommend Dean Bush Motel - ring them instead of going thru a book app to get the best deal.

   Awesome, friendly and clean place! The manager also upgraded us(for free) as we had a lot of luggage to go overseas, so he put us into a bigger room. He also offered us a late checkout as our shuttle wasn’t coming till 11:30am. Overall amazing place to stay! Will defiantly be back!

   Amazing service. So accommodating of us traveling with our 22 month old for the first time (even offered to help with a new room the 2nd and 3rd night due to our boy not sleeping with us in the same room), nothing was a bother. Location was perfect, literally walk in a straight line across the road and into the mall. Rooms very clean.

   We were upgraded into a one bedroom! Clean, comfortable, and affordable motel just right across Westfield mall. Has sky channels, kitchen with basic facilities, bathroom has a heater (only the pull string does not work and the switch is in the ceiling), has a spa tub but the water pressure is weak, so taking a shower is longer than it should. Internet connection is superb and good service!
