I stayed at this hotel last night and had one of the most uncomfortable experiences Iβve ever had while travelling. Iβm deeply disappointed and will never come back here again. Before I even checked in, the hotel contacted me on WhatsApp without my consent. I only provided my mobile number for the purpose of the booking, not for third-party messaging apps. Using my personal data for a different purpose β and contacting me through a third-party platform I never authorised β is a serious privacy concern, and in my view, a clear breach of how my information should be handled. My room was located right next to an equipment well with constant 50dB machinery noise running 24/7. It sounded like a washing machine operating behind my headboard, and even with earplugs, noise-cancelling AirPods, and white noise, I couldnβt fall asleep until after midnight. To make things worse, a 5am fire alarm went off, adding even more stress after a sleepless night. On top of that, the room itself had multiple issues: β’ Hot water takes over 5 minutes to heat up β’ The room remains very cold, even with the heating turned on β’ Overall comfort was far below acceptable standards What disappointed me the most, however, was the response from the reception desk. When I approached them about the noise issue in the morning, I was asked to AirDrop my video. After I did, the staff member ended the conversation with a casual βsorry.β An apology should have been the first thing they said, not the last. The lack of empathy and care was very clear, and no real solution or concern was offered. For a hotel stay, the basics are a quiet room, functioning amenities, and staff who genuinely care about guest experience. All these issues caused huge disruption to my day. Unfortunately, this property failed in all these areas. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses these issues promptly.

I came to Wellington with my elderly father for a family wedding and stayed at 15 Tory TRYP by Wyndham and thoughroughly enjoyed our entire stay here. The hotel is great in cleanliness, service, comfort and perfectly located. I would like to mention the three different check in staff that we regularly interacted with. Christopher, Libie and Salma. Very polite and friendly and Salma went the extra mile with us. The room service was fantastic, even finding my lost earbud and putting it on top of it's case. The room was quiet and comfortable and there is a mini kitchen and a washing machine and drier. All of good quality and worked well. I highly recommend their Hotel if you want all you could ask for in a really good location. Thank you to all for a great stay.

Really nice place at a reasonable price. It's either pretty new or newly refurbished because the decor, the carpets, the fittings are all clean and fresh. It has a little style about the decor with a touch of Art Decco which is a pleasant change from the generic vanilla of most places. Coffee plunger in room, dual head shower, plenty of sockets, all nice touches. My new favourite.

Easy check-in. The room was very nice with a retro style. The bathroom was HUGE, the shower was a great size with a fold down seat and a washer / dryer combo machine. The Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa is a 5 min walk and a must visit to see the Gallipoli: The Scale of Our War exhibition. Lots of restaurants close by! Parking can be tough to find!

Location and room were pretty good. Check-in was terrible. Cleaning was a 50:50 job. Something kept making annoying metal clapping noises whenever there was wind ... in one of the world's windiest cities. The bed was a bit too soft, the armchairs a bit too unergonomic for my taste. On the other hand, the laundry machine and dryer in ny room were pretty good (but a manual would have been helpful ... there was one for the simple TV remote but none for these appliances). By the way, should someone have told me what's up with the fridges and the coffee machine in the lobby? I guess I would have asked eventually but the lobby was essentially never staffed (and I didn't feel like waiting for someone to come out from the back for such a small question). Oh, the nearby supermarket is great!

Just completed two nights at TRYP Wellington. Very warm welcome from the manager on duty, comfortable rooms, well appointed and very well sound-proofed, given the hotel's central city location. Wrestled with the TV and aircon, but all hotels have different setups and we got there in the end. Breakfast was a bonus -- all in all, a CBD option well worth checking out.

This is a brand new, super clean hotel in the centre of Wellington. It is steps away from the Te Papa museum and the main shopping streets. The staff are friendly. The lobby which has a coffee machine and loose leaf tea with alternative milks and soft drinks is amazing. Such a nice vibe to meet other travellers and have a hot beverage after a cool day of exploring the windy city! The decor is art deco and stylish. The rooms also had complimentary drinks and fair trade chocolate which was a very pleasant surprise! The toiletries are also in pump bottles from a company that supports charities. This is such a nice touch and I am happy to support this. I would stay here again!

Great little hotel in a very convenient location. Has a nice look to it. Quite quiet and peaceful. Rooms very comfy and warm but perhaps a little on the small side. Breakfasts are a nice touch - nothing flashy (basic continental); but does the job and a free bonus. Recommended.

Had an enjoyable stay - prefer this over some of the more expensive places around town. Tasteful modern deco style. Rooms are well appointed, TV even has Sky. No view from window though. Light breakfast and room snacks are a welcome bonus.
