   Attended this venue for a farewell. DECOR: Beautiful Venue FOOD: The Food was lack Luster and not enough. The ingredients were fresh, but everything was bland. I would probably suggest not to set up the buffet table while patrons are still conversing inside and perhaps usher them outside before doing setup. SERVICE: The service from the service girls was amazing and we couldn't fault that. I'd probably suggest tho to not be passing plates over a patrons head to the kitchen window, though. The manager lady was quite abrasive and not very inviting, very rude in approaching everyone to vacate the venue at 9.30pm. I understand that was the agreement, but her delivery was rude.

   Thank you Vanessa, Victoria and Team For letting us hold our beautiful Wedding at the most gorgeous venue and scenery in Auckland. We were made to feel very important from the start of the process and fell in love with the venue, our first one we looked at. We stayed the entire weekend of our wedding and we were looked after like VIP’s from the start. The rooms were stunning and it was so lovely to be able to have our children and family close. We were able to have seperate areas so myself and now husband could get ready and not see each other. It was nice being able to have our Ceremony, Reception, photos, Wedding night all in the same place. I was very anxious about the weather leading up to our wedding and it rained on the morning until an hour before the Wedding Ceremony! It stopped and Vanessa and the team quickly had all the set up moved to outside and we got to have our amazing ceremony outside. The team were attentive, thoughtful and caring and we felt like family. We then go on to the most amazing delicious food that all our guests raved about! We can’t thank you enough for the 5 Star Venue and Service!! If you are looking for an incredible, beautiful, amazing Wedding Venue you will find it at Flaxmere House.    Just WOW!! Few days spent here for our work conference. This place was a slice of heaven. Beautiful and tidy and clean. Food was divine and the quality of it was high end. (No cutting corners here!!!) Vanessa was our host. She went over and above to make sure we had everything we needed. She also stopped what she was doing to have a friendly conversation. You can tell a lot of love goes into this property. 100% recommended.

   We got married here in January and had a great time. We had around 50 people, mostly international so it was a great option for us. I didn't have to worry or plan all the small details and the venue is a great location near the lake walk and bethels beach. Accommodation was east and accessible, only complain that the couples room is so near the kitchen and the door is not very soundproof etc. Otherwise beautiful. Only small thing I wish was to have different chairs in the farther space. Food was delicious, people were all asking for more and it had a great nz feel I wanted for my foreign guests. Music system and sound system was great and we were super lucky with the weather. The owner has very kiwi vibes and very chill which I think could be surprising for some foreign or anxious people but overall all flowed well for us and she always answered our questions etc. Wish we could do it again.

   Vanessa and team were amazing from start to finish, from helping set up everything for the wedding (and helping decifer exactly what we wanted when we didn't know ourselves) to preparing and serving the best wedding food anyone who attended had eaten. They thought and provided everything we could have asked for, and made our wedding day everything we could have wanted.

   We loved having our wedding day at Flaxmere house and staying a couple of nights, with our dearest, before/after our big day. Vanessa and her team went all the way to ensure everything went as smoothly as planned, even when the weather was a bit wet. The location was fantastic and relatively simple to get to for our overseas guests. The service and food were both excellent. We enjoyed the fabulous barbeque and the exceptional wedding dinner. We recommend this venue and staff to anybody looking to have their special day.

When my partner and I visited, we knew this was where we wanted to say our I do’s and spend time with our loved ones. Flaxmere House is a stunning venue with boutique accommodation offerings, 5-star food, and out-of-this-world service delivery. Thank you, Flaxmere Team; you were incredible!
