   A superb place to stay while doing the Sounds to Sounds Brevet. A couple of us shared a two room motel. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well equipped. Easy to make a meal and relax after a long day cycling. Friendly and welcoming staff. Very highly recommended.

   Great spot close to town - ice cream, brewery, fuel - easy to walk to. Clean facilities. Yes close to road but that was quiet overnight. Good spot for our camper van with power. Lovely helpful staff.

   What a fabulous spot. Gracious host with a last minute on the road booking. Pet friendly so our Papillion was not an issue. Situated across the road from food outlets. Stayed in Unit 4 which gets morning and late afternoon sun. Beds were comfortable and clean. The room had everything you need for a stay of longer than one night. Very close by a lovely historical cottage backing on to a park with a children's play ground and bird aviary with a large selection of birds. We will be back.

   My family and I always accommodate here when traveling north. Hosts are amazing and work around your traveling time frames, very flexiable. Rooms are great always clean & cozy. Perfect location, a walk across the road to supermarket and food eaterys. Absolutely love our stay everytime would highly recommend !!

   I stayed one night in a deluxe room which felt spacious and modern. I was very impressed with the overall presentation and cleanliness. The owner and cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. They also allowed me to bring my dog, which was fantastic. Good location in Amberley across the road from Countdown. They had Sky tv which was a nice touch and gave me a wifi pass. The couch was clean and comfy which was a nice surprise as so many places have awful couches! And it was set up so you could watch tv from bed if you wanted to! Nice bedside lamps where you could adjust the brightness by touch and plug in your phone to charge. Heater kept the room cosy. My only gripe was the road noise as it's on the highway - bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper like me. It does calm down a lot in the late hours though. Definitely one of the better motels I've stayed in in NZ! I would 100 percent stay again. Thank you!

   Really enjoyed our stay here with our wee dog! Very spacious rooms which were very clean and well equipped. Great places to walk your dog nearby as well - small park just down the road, or Amberley domain a short drive away. Will definitely be back!

   What a lovely place to stopover. Had a powered tent site for the night in a well sheltered spot. Lovely hot showers. Nice and clean. Really nice host. Love this place
