Great value, well equipped rooms, some parts a little older, but excellently maintained, very clean. Hosts were really friendly and very helpful. Easy walk to town.
Nice motel with very helpful owners. Spacious rooms with a fully equipped kitchen and 3 beds. A scented lemon tree is right outside the window. The pool is in an enclosure, good for kids. Each door is decorated with a wreath! Parking is in front of each unit. Located near the center of Napier. A booking at the Mission winery is our recommendation!
Great location, shower pressure was great. Owners were very helpful with our check in. Beds were ok. Rooms could be a little better ie better tv, appliances etc but at the end of the day we were only there at night so was ok.
Thank you, Dave and Rachel for making us feel very welcome and made our stay in Napier really enjoyable. Great accommodation with comfortable beds. Highly recommend and will definitely be staying here again when I'm next in Napier.
My go too place in Napier clean and tidy and nice and quiet.
Place is small, clean & tidy. Close to town. But shower pressure for hot water was virtually non existent. Also stove top plates weren’t hot enough to boil an egg. Abit overpriced & dated. Can only assume the owner doesn’t want to spend any money on the place. Wouldn’t stay again.
I really liked staying here. I liked how the unit got serviced every day we were there. Right by the city of Napier but also quiet.
A little dated and basically no hot water pressure. The lessees would love to update but owner not forthcoming which is a shame as it's a great location The lessees took exception to my original post which rated the motel as average saying it was a poor review and was damaging to them. As a result and before he had even discussed my review with me, they canceled a previously confirmed booking I had made with them for April next year.. I offered to discuss and/or amend my review but he wasn't interested. In my experience owner &/or managers normally discuss any issues rather than being petty. A shame really as they were a nice couple but their attitude leaves me no other option but to downgrade my review
We had a roomy family unit which was very clean, tidy and up to date. Everything you could need. Good location and quiet. Beds were comfy. Definitely would stay there again.
We had a stay over 4 nights with kids and grandparents. That put is in two adjacent rooms, which gave us a decent view of the facility. The rooms were very clean and stocked with reasonable kitchen supplies. The weather in Napier was stunning and we made great use of both the pool and the barbecue. Both were clean and in good order. My only complaint would be the lack of cooling. We were able to use the fans to move the air, but we didn't really have a way to get the evening temperatures down for the kids' bed time.
