   Staff were lovely. Room was perfect for our 2 night stay with all the essentials + extra. The room isn’t overly modern, but this made it feel that little extra like its home. We would stay again if coming to Christchurch ! Thank you

   The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly, helpful and patiently gave us ideas for travel to nearby places. Quiet room, surrounded by trees and plants. Beautiful sunlight in the balcony every morning. Washer dryer in the room. Nice spacious bathroom. Comfortable bed. Utensils and cutlery provided. 5-10 mins drive to Riverside market for good breakfast, food and shopping.

   We booked this place via AirNZ website while booking our flight to Christchurch. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our trip due to state of emergency declared across the Canterbury after red wind warning issued by Metservice. In an unusual situation like this when we were refunded by almost all other services we booked in advance, the owner of this place was reluctant to provide us any longer time credit of six months or so. Instead we were fully charged (approx. $470 for three nights) the day after. We found this unacceptable and inflexible. The situation would have been different if we would have booked in a proper hotel chain. In our opinion, such place should not be advertised under AirNZ website.

   We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful and clean suite. It really has everything! Comfortable bed, good kitchen facility, heating and all the extras. The upholstery was nice and freshly cleaned, it was nice and private and the owner was friendly. This is our second stay here and we will be back when we come to Christchurch.

   A good place to stay. 10 minute work into CBD. Restaurants and pubs are within easy walking distance. Very nice rooms.

   We are very happy w our stay here. Laundry in the room, big tv, mini fridge, king bed w heating pads, and desk big enough for the 2 of our computers. Terra Vive!

   I had a great stay at Terra Vive with my mum and daughter. Mandy and Brian looked after us very well. The rooms were spotless and had everything needed. It was the best shower I've ever used! Great location, just a short walk to nice cafes and tourist attractions. Must get food from Thai Container - 3min walk away!

   The name suggests luxury but it is far from it. The rooms are very dark and dismal and the soft furnishings were odd colours thrown together and seriously needed updating , they looked faded and worn. The carpet had stains. The matress was old and lumpy. I had some ironing to do but I didn't bother as the board pulled out from under the kitchen bench and wedged against the bathroom doorframe. The fridge had a broken door shelf so our supplies didn't fit as we couldn't use the door shelf. The bathroom sink took ten minutes to drain after washing your hands. Touring NZ for six weeks and have stayed in many lovely places but this was incredibly disappointing.

   Stayed here for 3 nights over a weekend. Clean and tidy rooms. Washing machine and dryer in the room, soap powder provided as well, all for no extra charge. Outside noise wasn't bad, we got to sleep quickly and slept all night. Really good price, can't complain there, have definitely paid more for much less including standard of rooms. Was a nice walk into town, not too far, and not right in the CBD so it was a good spot. Will definitely be staying here again in the future. No complaints.
