We had a few days here in October. The hotel is well located & maintained and appears to have been extensively renovated recently. However, we've marked it down considerably as the freshly tiled shower base is slippery and for folks like us in our advanced years, a fall can be a life changing experience. We notified management, suggested a solution, but received no reply.

Great location for one night stay was wonderful to arrive to warm cozy room after a long flight. Only downfall is that there’s lots of noise from about 6 AM onwards either from other guests or housekeepers from next-door or above but if you are up early and on your way, it won’t matter, but if you’re hoping for a sleeping, maybe not a great choice.

Pros: The location is great. Lots of restaurants in waking distance. Also can ride a scooter to downtown. Very clean room. Cons: The room is very small and the TV is placed in a nonwatchable spot. Can barely walk around the room or space to open luggage. The shower also goes from perfect to super cold and then very hot all of sudden. It happened every time I showered. Also there is currently construction happening across the street that wakes you up. There is only two parking spots and then you have to hope there's a free spot on the street.

Most beautiful stay. We were traveling through Christchurch when we decided to stay an extra night to visit friends for dinner quickly booked this place on booking.com easy as service just pulled up needed a PIN code to get into the house and had everything wifi hot shower clean tidy bedroom. We will definitely recommend to other friends and family. May even come back though and stay a night on our way back.

This is a boarding house with nicer beds and fittings. Noisy if you’re near the front door. Water pressure in the shower is great if you need to wash a baby or puppy, but terrible for adults. Ok for one night, but not suitable for couples or families. Look elsewhere.

We had a nice clean room but tiny. Good for a night or two. Very responsive management. Close to many restaurants and about a 15-20 walk to the CBD with an abundance of shopping and restaurants.

Great serviced apartments in a very handy location. Very clean room. No onsite catering, but very close to shops and restaurants

Reasonably priced and in a nice area, just slightly away from the CBD but with restaurants locally. Limited supermarket options around but there is a Z petrol station for some groceries if you don't have a car. Rooms are comfy and new with smart TVs and large beds. Shower is good and water pressure excellent. Kitchenette is pretty good for basic meals and has all that you need for cooking a quick meal. Theres (very) limited parking round the back of the hotel. Room for 2 cars and one additional disabled parking spot. There is no reception but there is a number which is monitored for any questions. It's not ideal but you can resolve most stuff this way. No lift so stairs only if you are upstairs All in all a pleasant experience, but more of an Airbnb than a hotel.

Excellent hotel for the price offered. All the rooms are new and the finishing is to a very high standard. No reception but you don’t really need one. Only issue (which is why 4 stars and not 5) is if you get a room upstairs, there is no lift and you have to lug your baggage up

Terrible experience at this hotel. My room was a claustrophobic cell with barely any light from one high window looking directly into the neighbouring window. Customer service/assistance was non-existent and the owner's clearly could care less once the booking was paid for. Much better options close by. No baggage storage or elevator.
