“A well run lodge. You need things like sheets, blankets, towels, toiletpaper and cooking utensils are all needed. Some rooms have showers and toilets while other single ones don't. However there are communal showers and cooking facilities. I have been here 4yrs and find it comfortable.”

“Absolutely beautiful homestay to stay in. We arrived late but it was no problem as we were given the self check in instructions. Everything there that you could possibly need. Lovely having a TV in the room too. Comfortable bed, quiet & relaxing. Fully equipped kitchen made it so easy for us to have breakfast, which of course we brought with us. “We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with our two children for 3 nights. We really wanted a 24 hour reception as we were arriving in the middle of the night local time. It was a perfect and easy check in, our room was very large, perfectly cleaned and with wonderful views. It was refreshing to have the room serviced daily (something that most hotels have stopped!) and we could not fault the room. We didn’t have much to do with the staff but those we did were friendly and helpful. The best part was the hotel location. A perfect spot for what we needed - right across the road from a wonderful strip of cafes and restaurants, a laundrymat and bottle shop right next door and 5 minutes walk to an epic kids playground! I would recommend this hotel to families visiting Christchurch. I am grateful we decided to book here for the first few nights of our family holiday.”
